simple rule, don't hit guys in the helmet, ecspecially qb's from behind.
I agree. on like the 5th look, his right hand was not flush with the back of his head, so part of that forearm may have hit him after all, either way, right call, and didn't REALLY change the game, unless you NEED excuses...
This play didn't matter, so we had the ball on the 12 instead of half the distance to the goal which moved it to the 6. We were going in for the TD either way.
i loved hearing lions fans the little that were there cry about that penalty lol
I can't believe that the announcers were so adament that this was not a penalty. That fueled the Kittie fans being so upset, that and their coach going ballistic.
Seriously, that would have been called if it was Forte running like that. Suh should have tackled him, rather tha shove him, and the fact that he did it from behind and to the head was so wrong in many ways. It was CLEARLY frustration on his part at the fact that they had not been able to stop us in any way on that drive.
Penalty should have been called, and did nto in any way alter what happened next.
Fvck what the announcers had to say!!!!! It was an uneccessary roughness penalty plain and simple. You can't just run up and hit someone in the back of the head in lieu trying to make a legitimate tackle. It should have been called and it was. Screw the Lions fans and their coach. It's just one more excuse about why they didn't win. :badmood:
