One thing that sucked from yesterdays game
Seeing Hester break one only to get tackled by the stupid punter.

I couldn't tell if his pride was hurt on the sideline or if he was actually hurt.

if only the TWO Bears in front of hester actually took the time to block the punter instead of trying run with Hester to celebrate the touchdown with him.

By my count, that is the 3rd time this year he was tackle/tripped by the punter/kicker. He is a definite threat, but I don't understand why he jumps for them while they are in front. His famous jump over Vinatieri was after he was past him.
Oh, and Steltz is the guy to blame for the no block.

Yeah he seems to be getting tripped up by the kickers consistently this year, maybe thinking too much when he sees the number.
That being said I thought the answer to this thread was Sam Rosen's face.

I was thinking the same thing. It just seems like the leading blockers ignore the guy instead of burying him. And.....someone please tell me why Steltz is on this team and Tim Shaw isn't? I missed the entire training camp and preseason. Shaw was a ST beast last year.

Because Steltz was actually the most impresive safety during training camp and ended up getting hurt. he's been burried on the depth chart cause of that high ankle sprain in the first game. Never even got to see him play, and after all the reviews he was getting I was sure we'd see him/see him start. . . obviously not in the cards now, and his future is certainly in doubt.

That one was a bad read by Hester. No one behind him, he should have been patient instead and waited/setup the block, thats a shame he didn't get the TD on that one.

I think his pride is more hurt because it was the sissy punter that took him out. I think maybe we need to put a guy on the punter when hester returns punts vs the patriots.
