Jay Cutler is leading the league in sacks and smelling salts.

I remember being shouted down for chastising Bears "fans" for whining so much about the preseason....

Don't be mad that your .500 prediction isn't going to work out, lol.
First of all don't piss on the plants before you get the key, it gets messy and it stinks. I didn't give a shit about the wins or losses, I did care about seeing our franchise qb keep getting creamed against the vanilla defenses he was facing. That still had not changed and our qb is still leading the NFL in sacks. Setting an NFL record for sacks in a half still pisses me off and losing out qb for a game and a half did not make me happy either. Now go back to your refrigerator and get a bottle of Guiness and shake it up, this is a new thing I learned from a James Bond movie where he prefers his drink shaken, not stirred.

I wasn't worried about the 0-4 record, but how bad the team looked while running their plays. Preseason records are meaningless. How they perform is not.

Actually, Im not even sure how much stock you can put in performance either, with the exception of our franchise qb getting killed. New plays, new schemes, etc..

True.

Since I don't live in Chicago, I only got to see one or two preseason games on NFL Network, and the OL couldn't block shit. Luckily, that problem was semi-"cured" by the Buffalo game, but giving up an average of 5 sacks per game between the Giants and the Redskins games was totally ridiculous. Records in preseason mean nothing, just like in baseball, but they can give you a peek into what the first team is going to be like down the line.
