The guy ran Mike Nolan out of town. Nolan is a pretty good D coordinator and seemed to have that D playing well last season.

they dont call him Mcdouche for nothing lol. Plus they did have allot of major injuries on defense this year. But if the plan was to pay shannahan why not team up Shanny with Nolan if that was the true deficiency? That is what I dont get from the start of their dismantling process. They already had a functioning offense and could have used all their resources on defense. Instead new offensive guy and he dismantled some pretty bad ass pieces on offense.

I think Dom Capers would actually be a better hire then Frazier, Capers has head coaching experience in the NFL already and has done a nice job in the Green Bay the past couple years. I would be surprised if I don't hear Capers name being thrown around for a head coaching job again.
Calhoun has publicly stated that he wants to remain at the AF Academy and he also signed an extension with a nice raise for he and his staff. That takes him out of the running. Frazier will probably be on a short list if the Vikes don't lock him up first as will Gary Kubiak who will in all likelihood be gone in Houston after this season.
If John Elway signs on as VP of Football Operations as rumors say he will you can probably bet even money on Kubiak getting the job. The Broncos have always seemd to favor offensive minded HC's over defensive minded ones.
