Another key to beating the Patriots is to make sure no random people are filming our practices.

Isn't Gillette Stadium's field that tire material stuff?

Keys to beating the Pats,1)disrupt timing2)pressure up the middle3)hands in the passing lanes4)Jam the recievers5)Urlacher has to spy the QB and stay in coverage6)front four needs to attack the A&B gaps7)tackle,tackle,tackle.

The Bears defense will have to shine. This is a put up or shut up game for our D. Brady thinks he is the best because everyone has told him he is the best. He will make some grave errors in the game which will solidify our win. I saw it once posted here and ill repeat it: we need to control the clock and have long time consuming drives with points at the end. Keep our defense rested and the ball out of Brady’s hands. The best D is a time consuming offense, no defense can stop the Pats forever, but we can stop them most of the time.
I’m sick of my in-laws telling me how “wicked sweet” the Pats are in their stupid NE accent. I second the motion to have Urlacher rip Brady’s head off.

Tom Brady is the product of Great coaches and a great system. look no further than Matt freakin Cassell for my proof. he's a good QB don't misunderstand me.... but he was Brady 2.0 in that offense. you put good ole Tom on a team like say.... the lions?? and you pretty boy is exposed for what he is... just another Good NFL QB, nothing special, nothing to freaking bronze a statue over that's for damn sure.

Have you seen Matt Cassell's numbers this year? He's pretty ******* good.

First, great thread, one and all (but extra Kudo's to Windy for getting it going).
Grizz is right about cover 2 encouraging dink/dunk and that being NE's specialty. Butka is right about the TE's being their downfield plan. Burris is right (twice) about the field, but didn't mention the resodding (which likely hasn't taken in the cold), so it could be tall and unsure footing. Claymore's points are difficult to argue with.
Batted balls will be the difference for us. They will cause an interception or two. DJ Moore on Welker is the matchup of the week. Thusfar, Moore has been admirable, but this dude is a greased pig. If he can hold Welker without much YAC we can win this thing.
On the offensive side of things, just throw away from McCourty. For a rook, he is a beast and should be avoided. Bennett across the middle, a couple of key grabs by Olsen and Knox, and our special teams can make this thing close.
Last team with the ball wins.

"If you're not a liberal at twenty you have no heart, if you're not a conservative at forty you have no brain."

that is complete bullshit.
and if you put Brady on the lions with a guy like Calvin Johnson he wont miss a beat. Lions problem is defense not offense. Pretty bad example there. Probably should have went with the Browns if you wanted to hoe on a hof bound qb.
