Brady is a system QB. He'd be OK elsewhere. That whole offense is designed to thrive without a stud QB. It's well thought out actually. When Brady gets enshrined into Canton, he should be wearing a kangaroo pouch with Bill Belichik in it, as he approaches the podium.

That's your argument for it Mo?
Please explain how Cleveland's offense is similar to New Englands in scheme. FYI, just because Daboll was a Pats coach doesn't mean it's the same.

And do we really need to highlight how the efficiency of passers coming from other systems into that or very similar offense increases? Kyle Orton anyone?

big bill's system was a failure when he coached in clev and ny. Why didnt those qbs propel them to three superbowls?

They're not running NE's system in Cleveland. They run a big fricken blend of crap. They've even got some west coast elements in there (likely from Holmgren).
Belichick started stirring the pot by calling it a West Coast system earlier in the year.

Perhaps because Belichick is a defensive coach, and hired OC's?

Belichick sticks his nose into the offense. I remember reading an article with Brady, shortly after McDaniels left, saying that Belichick is involved with it (I'll try to find it). Supposedly, he regularly chats with Saban and Meyer about offense.

and he has gone from weis to mcdaniels to whoever they have now. Are they all the same offensive coordinators? Do they all run the same system?

Well I'm all in with the thought that they'll try to kill Lovies Cover-2 underneath with Welker and Woodhead out of the backfield and then work the seam routes downfield with their TE's. Those are the two major weaknesses of the Bears pass defense and Brady will surely look to exploit them.
If we can take away their running game and limit the YAC we can keep them under a reasonable amount off control but there's no way we stop them dead in their tracks. To me the key is to keep them out of the endzone and force them to settle for some field goals in order to keep the score down.
If we can hold them to 20 points or less we stand a good chance of pulling off a win.
