Cutler getting some props, now appears on the MVP list. Granted anyone besides #1 and #2 have no chance of winning, but still nice to see him on the list. Goes to show you that winning and taking care of the ball starts getting you some attention.

I text ESPN radio about this two days ago. They were talking about MJD in the hunt for MVP and how the main reason was due to him helping his team to a division lead. I know the guy is a beast and deserves to be on the list, but like I said in the text, if that's your logic, than Cutler should be in the discussion too. Cutler has the Bears on top of their division working with possibly the worst OL in the NFL. Our WRs are good, I like them, but it's not like he is throwing to a true number 1.
All that said, I think Brady runs away with the MVP. If not him, I think Vick wins it. But if Cutler keeps this latest streak up and continues to put up good games/wins, and the other players start losing/playing badly (like I hope Brady does Sunday)......why not Cutler?
Debate is one thing. Losing love for your country is another.

I think Cutler can be in the discussion, but I think he is not even the MVP of our team. I would toss that up to Url and Peppers.

I agree. Peppers has been a game changer. It's a shame that they just look at QB's and some RBs. LT was the last Defensive MVP, and that was forever ago.

Clearly we are a FAR better team with Url in there over Hillenmeyer, and Peppers has been an absolute BEAST this year. To even discuss Cutler without mentioning them shows how ridiculous the media has become.

Might be on the list, but no way is he going to get it.

That will probably never happen again. It's become as bad as the heisman (hypeman) trophy in college, just look at the top 5 teams and pick the RB or QB ... there's your candidates.

Kind of like with Charles Woodson getting the Heisman Trophy over Peyton Manning in 2007. The reason I'm still bitter about that is because I'm from Tennessee and attend UT. Without Peyton Manning, that team doesn't win but about 7 or 8 games.

I'm just happy hes on there. Yea we have other players on our team that are playing at high levels also but lets face it the MVP is a media thing , which means most of the time 100% biased. Its pretty good i mean how many QBs have been on this list at this time of the season while getting sacked 41 times!!! It just shows he hasn't quit on his team which is more to me than some dumb biased MVP trophy.

Give me the Super Bowl, and I'll thumb my nose at any damn MVP trophy!
