You do realize that this same patriots team lost to the browns? The lions beat the packers, I have seen the raiders blow up the broncos this year, Peyton Manning has been an interception machine this year, the cowboys have a losing record.

Reason: blow up the raiders, what a dumbass.

It does but everything seem to go the patriots way in this game. Brady could have fired a pass at the goal post and it would have landed in the hands of a Patriot wr. Once the patriots went up 21-0 it was going to be easy pickings for the patriots defense.

This is true because Cutler was going to have to throw the ball on virtually every down to get us back in the game, which he couldn't do.

How many years are the Bears going to put up with almost there? They were almost there in 05, 06 went to a superbowl and fell flat, then it went down hill from there. Now they are on a up hill climb again but almost there. When is almost not enough? I am tired of things being over looked. Ron Turner, poor drafting, and lack of game time adjustments to bring the team back. It always seems something is over looked and we settle for almost there.
Without weaponz it's just another airline!

Well according to JA we have not been rebuilding we have been "close" ever since the SB loss. 8o

Pack lost to a bottom feeder team
we lost to what's been billed as the best team in football.
pack play's NE next week.... we have the vike's.
after an 0-4 pre season, not one person here thought we would have a legit shot at the playoffs or even a winning season.... now even that's not enough to make bear fans smile.
We beat the pack this year, we're undefeated in our Conference, and in a year where we brought in not only a new coordinator on offense, but a much more complicated offense that takes more than a year to learn but all acounts from players who have run it, and we're doing pretty damn good in our first year with it if you ask me. with the Absense of a solid O-line... the absence of a "true" #1 reciever as guys would like to say...
I just don't understand it. I understand being upset after a blowout... but the crap that takes place here??? does anyone ever step back after a day or two to calm down and look back on these post's to see just how insane it get's sometimes?...

Not sure why the anger at Lovie on this. This one, IMHO, falls directly on every Bears Player. From the opening kick, the Bears looked absolutely like they did NOT want to play that day. From Forte tap dancing his way to not slip and fall, to the Defense scared to hit anyone or anything.
All they seemed to want to do , was hold someone up while someone tried to strip the ball. No one was hitting, no one was attacking, NO ONE wanted to play yesterday.
Not sure what else the coaches could have done, we are who we are, no scheme would have changed what we did yesterday, the players did not want to play.

Because it's ALL Lovie's fault.
I'm figuring out that most proffessed Bear fans have very little to almost NO REAL football knowledge. they can't pinpoint the real problems or why things arn't happening the way they think they should, so they just start shooting people hoping they hit the right guy....
Lovie has brought in an undeniably gifted coaching staff. we now have a much IMPROVED ability to develop talent on the roster (everyone's favorite Nickel Mr. Moore is PERSONALLY caoched by Lovie Smith ONE on ONE for those not keeping track)
Our Offense has the potentiall to be out of this world (Kurt Warner, Isaac Bruce, and Troy Holt have all said it takes 2-3 years to master this offense, and with a little less than a year with it... we seem to be holding our own pretty damn good)
most wrote us off as a 4 win team with the more Generous of the haters pinning us as a 7-8 win team.
Tice has ONE decent lineman to work with, the other's are either Raw with good to great potential, or they are named Garza and Omiyale.
We have a core of Very Good Recievers, who are also still sucumbing to the fallout of a New very complicated system...
the point of all this??? yeah we got beat. but his team is going in the right direction, more so than we have been the last couple years. so go on... cry in your cheerios. I refuse to be blinded by the ignorance of others. I see great things coming.... just like I saw the potential for us to be an 11-12 win team... I was laughed at then, and I'm the one laughing now...
Either get on the Kool aid express, or get ready for even more "I told you so's"

Is it wrong of me to still be in fear that complacency may once again settle in, if we have a good playoff run?
