that will happen if he gets an extension lol. What Im in fear of is what we just saw yesterday this supposed "bear weather". We brought in an OC and give him no pieces to fit his scheme and even if we did we are running a scheme that doesnt fit "bear weather". And we have been running a defense since Lovie has been here that doesnt fit "bear weather". It is like what the morons in UM did by bringing in a HC that wants to run a 3-3-5 defense in the big ten lol and a garbage offensive scheme that doesnt work there.

Yeah get rid of him, I'd rather be at the bottom of the division instead of on top with a 9-4 record. lol

Yep... the fact we've ignored the oline makes it even more comical. And when turner was here, he liked to use those undersized guards.
At least with Tice here, I think we'll see some road graders on their way in. He likes big boys on his line. I'm hopeful for that at least. I think the arrow is pointing up for the O. Now, if the D can get some additional young talent in, I don't think we'll drop off much when inevitable age sets in with that group.

yep we are seeing that with Herm, Webb, and Louis. We knew it would be a work in progress just frustrating they wasted some great opportunities and building an oline and now we will be desperate next season with prob one of the worst oline drafts in years on the horizon. Typical of us isnt it lol

The main thing now is beat the Vikings. That is such a huge game, probably the biggest game the Bears have played in a few years now. This is the game to win the NFC North. The D will need to come up big, ST's, Cutler, and the OL/running game all need to show up next week.

1st to correct Grizz....we're not undefeated in the Conference. Only undefeated in the Division. I understand, once you get going on your positive train you tend to mis-type ;)
2nd...forget about next year. There most likely will be a lockout. So we will NOT be back next year. Nobody will be.
3rd...do not use the Packers losing to the Lions yesterday in your argument about how bad the Bears played yesterday. BIG DIFFERENCE! A) Packers went into the game w/ TONS of injuries already. B) Packers starting QB went down w/ concussion. C) Packers played on the road. The Bears are completely healthy except for Pisa, had their starting QB the whole game & played at home.
The Bears will most likely win the division & back their way into the playoffs. However, they won't be around long. Why? Look at yesterday for the reason. In bad weather, you need to be able to load up & run the ball. The Bears are not able to do that against good teams. The line is not good enough for that. I've been saying it since the offseason. This line (although improving) is NOT GOOD ENOUGH! JA'S FAULT! You can try to shove all the positivity BS you want up my rectum but it doesn't change this!

How does drafting Chris williams = Ignoring the O-line. how does going after Omiyale and manu = Ignoring the line.
did we make some decisions that haven't panned out like we would like?? absolutley.
I believe last year we we're CLAMMORING for secondary help. if we didnt' take Major Wright with the #3 pick it would have been the sky is falling pandemonium.
we took Wooton to help with the pass rush (in turn making life easier on the Secondary) and we took Josh Moore CB because we lost Vash and looked to improve the BIGGEST area of concern, cause as you remember O-line was a concern, but it didn't look to be this bad early on. (how quickly we forget these things)
and with our last pick we take J' Webb who is a pretty stunning prospect at the RT position he just needs to improve which I'm sure he will.
we brought in Shaffer who didn't cut the mustard, we tried Lance Louis who is also another good prospect for next year.
have we done enough? yes... but just barely. am I saying we DONT need to improve??? hell NO!! what I'm saying is it's not as bad as everyone makes it out to be.
to say we "ignored" the O-line is a lie... "not give the attention it needed"... I'd agree with that. problem was if you all recall, early on when we got tice... it was TICE who thought he could get by with what he had.... and he DID turn crap into "playable" which most thought couldn't be done.
either way... I'm just rambling at this point cause I have a million things to say and no time to say it. it's lunch and I'm hungry... I'll be bakc to make sense of this in an hour.

pack play's NE next week.... we have the vike's. (who cares...???)
after an 0-4 pre season, not one person here thought we would have a legit shot at the playoffs or even a winning season.... now even that's not enough to make bear fans smile. (nice, but, will the Bears be smart enough to build off of this success)
We beat the pack this year, we're undefeated in our Conference, and in a year where we brought in not only a new coordinator on offense, but a much more complicated offense that takes more than a year to learn but all acounts from players who have run it, and we're doing pretty damn good in our first year with it if you ask me. with the Absense of a solid O-line... the absence of a "true" #1 reciever as guys would like to say... (The Packers AND Lions are going to be a beast next season. CAN THE BEARS KEEP UP...???)
I just don't understand it. I understand being upset after a blowout... but the crap that takes place here??? does anyone ever step back after a day or two to calm down and look back on these post's to see just how insane it get's sometimes?... (We watch the games)
Just saying...

Who cares about next year, the Bears have a great shot at winning the NFC North right now, and they can play with anyone regardless of yesterday. You need a few breaks to win the NFC and get to the SB, but get in the playoffs and anything can happen. Atlanta is the clear favorite, but the Bears have a fast team that can match up well with them on their turf.
