Umm, What the heck was that? Get Lovie and company out of here
Were getting Jauroned again. Lovie will somehow get to the playoffs with this mediocre team get an extension. Lovie cannot coach teams in big games. Hes a bad coach. PERIOD. This cover who scheme is really bad and against big time offenses, it doesn't do anything to slow them down. The patriots looked like they were playing against a highschool team. Jerry put together this line full of really BAD offensive linemen and they are not giving cutler any time. you all know me, ive been hard on cutler but how the heck do you expect him to do anything when hes got 4 300 lb men hitting him each play?
Jerry Angelo is the worst GM in football, and Lovie Smith is a very below average coach.

It's a game that speaks volume about the coaches though. They were completely out coaches/schemed today...and they were unable to make any adjustments.

Then the Eagles head coach should get shit canned too right?
Teams get pantsed now and then.

Philly's coach was one of the winningest coaches of the past decade, he can afford to get pants; Lovie is just above a .500 coach, he's the Jeff Fisher of coaches.

All the same, coaches get pastsed now and then. No need to over react over one fricken loss no matter how bad it was

I don't think the Bears' heads were all in the game today. They looked like they were out in la-la land. Give the Patriots credit; they are definitely the best team in football. But the Bears didn't look "with it" or "all there" today. They basically didn't show up. That's on Lovie Smith, and I will say that he should have had this team fired up to play better than they did. That said, I don't think the answer lies in firing Lovie Smith. I would, however, look at investing in better scouting so we can locate the best talent out there for the draft and free agency and get those players to play for us. You can do a lot IF you have the personnel to run your offense and defense.

It's one game of exposure that brings things back down to earth and RE-exposes what has been wrong all along. Still make the playoffs sure but don't expect a Christmas miracle.
Arguing on the internet is like winning the special olympics, even if you win your still messed up.

I said this in another thread, but we will be back next year. I look at this as a season where we take the first step to bigger and better things ahead. If we draft or sign an OLman or two, AND get a top-notch WR (this one preferably in the first round of the draft), then this team will take a step up in improving their standing.
