What do the Ravens, Chargers, Steelers, Jets, Colts have in common?

They are just like the Bears. They are all likely playoff teams that have gotten beat, or beat up, by the Patriots this season.

    Patriots 23 Ravens 20

    Patriots 23 Chargers 20

    Patriots 39 Steelers 26

    Patriots 31 Colts 28

    Patriots 45 Jets 3

    Patriots 36 Bears 7

Losing to the Patriots does not mean that you are a bad team, or that your season is done. It means they are very good and you move on to games that you need to win. If we lose to the Vikings, like the Jets lost to the Dolphins, I will panic.

at least we got beat by a superior team. Its always great to beat playoff teams cause it really raises the bar. But I take losses against Patriot caliber teams instead of crap like losing to Redskins and Seahawks fwiw

I thought you were going to say they have respectable o-lines... something we don't have. Then again, the Steelers may not be so awesome.. but still better than ours.

    This is a great point.

We got beat by a better team yesterday and we hope that the team bounces back and takes out its frustrations on Minnesota next week. The Bears are not in the Patriots league, but that does not mean that they are not in the same league as the Giants, Eagles, Rams, Saints and Falcons who we will meet in the playoffs.

On their worst day the Bears were beat by a better team and that happens.

    Patriots 39 Steelers 26

    Patriots 36 Bears 7

Two of these things are not like the others; two of these things do not belong. Notice how outside of the Jets everyone else scored at least 20 points...Jets are also a defensive run first team w/a 2nd year qb. Also outside the jets all were under a 2 td's.

When the Bears play NE in the SB later this year, what they learned today will pay huge dividends.

We were playing in a blizzard with a weak OL and we gave them an defensive touchdown and a bad one at the end of the half, the Lions would blow us out if we did that.

The Steelers game was not close and they scored a number of their points in garbage time.

The Bears are not built to come from behind and when we allowed 21 1st quater points, and 2 TDs in 8 seconds, that was the end of the game.

Since the Patriots lost to the Browns they have been on a mission.
