No Beer Allowed at Bears/Vikings game!
Found this on the Viqueens site:
http://www.vikings.com/news/article-...0-6cf4ae4545ed
IMPORTANT: This is a first-come, first-served event. The Vikings anticipate this game to be well-attended and having a valid ticket does not guarantee admittance into TCF Bank Stadium. In the event that some ticket holders are turned away on game night due to capacity, only the original ticket account owners will receive a full refund.
Game Logistics
The Vikings and the University of Minnesota have agreed no alcoholic beverages will be served. No outside food or beverages will be allowed into the stadium. Game parking details will be announced in the coming days.

This really sucks for them, but better them than me! This is what they get for having a dome! Buncha pussies!
I really don't think I would go to that game if I couldn't drink any beer. Why the hell go to a game in 20 degree weather to watch a shitty team with no alcohol? That's the only thing that makes it bearable!
I wonder how many Minnesotans will smuggle booze into that stadium. All of them?

Gotta have a little antifreeze- hell the Vikes should celebrate the end of Favre's streak by handing out Vicodin.
Arguing on the internet is like winning the special olympics, even if you win your still messed up.

I suspect there will be a sham of a flask patdown.

Winston Churchill:
"Since light travels faster than sound, some people appear bright until you hear them speak."
"If you're not a liberal at twenty you have no heart, if you're not a conservative at forty you have no brain."

I agree. I mean, how effective will a "real" pat down be? Realistically, probably around 70-80% of adult males at the game will be packing multiple flasks, AND they'll be wearing Michelin Man snow suits. You could probably hide at least a couple of fifths in all that! I'll bet there will be more drunks walking out of that stadium then at a regular game at the Metrodome.
(Most Minnesotans would be able to hide a fifth under their belly overhang anyway.)

With all the pint bottles surely smuggled in, I wonder if there will be any “ugly incidents”…
