    Bad News: New York Giants beating Philidelphia Eagles

    At least, at the moment it is bad news.

    Before the week started, the Eagles held the tie breaker over the Giants and were listed as the Division winner. With them as the NFCE Division winner, the Bears get the first round bye (tied record and we have the head to head tie breaker).

    If the Giants win, they get the division lead. They would also get the first round bye (at the moment) because of the head to head tie breaker.

    We need the Eagles to mount a good comeback!

    If the Bears just win their games it won't matter. Tomorrow night is the big one, everything changes if the Bears lose that game.

    Not quite.

    Going into the week, the Bears and Giants both have the same record (which is also the same record as the Eagles). Giants are up two TDs with time running out and are well on their way to winning. If they do win, they have a leg up on the Bears because they beat us. Which means they have the second first round bye due to the tiebreaker over the Bears.

    Next week Giants have the packers, Bears have the Jets
    Final week, they have the redskins we have the packers.

    We could very well lose the first round bye if and when the Giants win this game.

    Funny thing was the commentators just said DJ did not have a return for a td all year. I guess he was due. Ha Ha. If Seatle beat Atlanta we may get the 1st seed. Can we change the name of the thread to play off scenarios?

    I think we got the division because Rodgers is out and if both GB and the Bears loss we still have one game lead. But loss out then that would be really bad. We need to win two of the next three to be a lock.
