Devin Hester return... someone comes off the Vikings bench?
Was listening to Waddle and Silvy this morning and someone had told them that #50 ran from the Vikings sideline to try to catch Devin Hester... Now I don't know if he was shoved out, but take a look at this replay..
Now it looks like #50 comes off the bench at :28, but then at around :37-38 you can see a bears player push someone out of bounds... but for him to come around that quickly and at an odd angle... just weird man. What do you think?
Funny, I noticed the same thing watching it live...he does seem to come out of nowhere and at a very weird angle...with the field the way it was, he probably got pushed out of bounds, fell and slide 20 feet before he was able to getting back up...at that point DH was already behind him and on he way to the endzone...
Curious if anyone noticed something else...
(thought of making separate thread, but no)
Hell....may have been already pointed out.
Anyone notice the (fan) hatred for Kluwe in the first half (how could you not). Yet in the first half Kluwe was kicking it smart, which is NOT to Devin and still gettin the hate from all of Minnesota...deservedly so for his comments, but not for his play that night.
My theory goes like this....Kluwe just said, "eF YOU!" to the fans after gettin booo'd out of the stadium in the first half and proceeded to kick to Hester every punt of the second half.
Just how he did so well in the first, it seems the second half he was kicking to Hester to spite the fans....dunno, could just be me making it up.
kellen davis hit him out of bounds, and then he came back in,, nothing illegal about the play
I disagree that he was blocked. However, the vid doesn't allow complete viewing to be sure.
My point in responding isn't to contradict, but rather to point out that Corey Graham was flagged a few weeks back for running around players on the sideline and then coming back in 15 yards down field. Why wouldn't that have been the case here? In order to come from that deep on the bench (If he was even in the play) he would have had to go around players for quite some time.
I wasn't happy with the officiating in that game, but it didn't matter.
