Chicago Bears To the fans who BEAR DOWN!!!

We just clinched the NFC North , after some "experts" had us finishing behind detroit...yea!!! Well I've said it in another thread I am very satisfied with making the post season. And you should be too!!! I'll start off on the obvious , we have the worst O-Line in the NFL...duh. Its only Martzs' 1st year at helm of the O.C. coaching position and I hope he has some say on players acquired either via free agency or even more importantly the draft. I almost forgot OMG do we have a 1st round pick this year and a 2nd one. I can almost assure you that one of those picks will be spent on a WR(hopefully a big fast receiver with route running ability). Another thing for the Off. , depending on how far we make it in the playoffs , who knows some players may evolve into superstars or at least raise their value a bit for the draft. The defense will be fine next year and you gotta watch for developing players like , D.J. Moore , Major Wright , Corey Wootton(!WOOT WOOT!) , Henry Melton , Marcus Harrison(can B A force) , and we may get to see Joshua Moore these last couple games maybe even in the playoffs . Then you have the other development going on with the VETS. You know a player like Izzy adjusting to playing O-Lineman who are just thinking about Peppers or Briggs and Lach adjusting they're play to playing with the absolute beast . Oh yeah Jennings doesn't look to bad also playing in this scheme.. Sorry forgot to mention some other players , and one who excels in this scheme and has made his mark this season with a breakout season!!! That MoFo Matt Toeaina

I'm not on his wagon yet. Sorry , still think Tommie can disrupt more... IMO

But Toe has 17 total tackles , 23 combined , 2 sacks and 2 pass breakups playing NT thats pretty good and even better was his ability to stay healthy at one of the most injury prone positions in football!!!!!!

1 more thing don't be surprised if a second or third round pick goes to the LLB position.

I'm in complete agreement with you about Toeina but then he's shown up well ever since his first start when he dropped guys in the backfield twice as a mere fill in player. I think one reason that you haven't seen more of him until this year (besides injury) is that we had a lot invested both monywise and draft position wise in guys like Harris and Harrison. "Toe" was a free agent and those guys typically have to convincingly beat out the higher rated guys to get their playing time. Obviously he has and to tell the truth, I'm not surprised. I always liked the way he played.

I will disagree with you on the WR as a first or second round pick though. We need Olineman far more than we need another wideout right now. If we don't get some help in protecting Cutler it won't make any difference who's on the receiving end of passes that may never be thrown because Jay is on his ass too much.

I can't see us picking a WR that high unless a too good to be true player drops to our pick. We still need some young guys to develop at MLB and you just know that if there's a stud DT/DE around in the second or third War Room Jerry will nab him. He always does.

100% agree on Big Toe. Harrison should have never made the team he has yet to show any flashes as Melton has. I"m w/Soul about getting more O-linemen. Even if we draft a high wr it will take quite awhile to adjust to the Martz system.
Arguing on the internet is like winning the special olympics, even if you win your still messed up.

Harrison is the classic underachiever in my book shorty. It's "Toe" and Melton who are the over achiever's. Guys like that feel they need to prove themselves and they do while guys like Harrison, due to draft status, show up over weight and out of shape. The guy plays were he belongs, behing Adams, Toeina, and Melton. In fact he's been inactive more than he's been active I think. Unless he put's it together I wouldn't expect him to even make the team next season. JA will find somebody better and cheaper in the draft or on the practice squad.
