Vikes gamesmanship backfires doesn't it?
What was all that about putting Favre on the DNP list and listing him as out for the game on Saturday and then magically starting him on Monday night? Does anyone actually buy the bullshit the Vikes put out about his miraculous recovery?
It was my belief that a team couldn't do that once a player had been declared out for game? Despite the NFL's denial about those postings being an assist to the Sports Book we all know that spreads depend a lot on who is or isn't going to play when it comes to high level starters.
Listing Favre as out and holding out the AP would play was nothing more than attempt to gain an advantage through deception since the Bears wouldn't be prepared for the reversal........they thought haha!
So in finality Favre has his season (career?) ended by a great sack to a hard turf and the Vikes end up without either and a rookie QB running the show with no running game except his own. Is it possible that Brad Childress is still running the team from afar. This smacks of his type of thinking.
Nothing thrilled me more than to win that game in style AND see the NFL's poster child for longevity and passing records go out laying on the same frozen turf that they and the Vikes insisted that the game be played on even though their own punter criticized the decision.

It's more likely to be gamesmanship than not, IMO. One roster problem (AP) might not be a big deal but both? Clearly, they wanted us to think/gameplan for AP and nothing but AP.
It kinda worked on the first drive, but we adjusted nicely.

Yeah I thought those decisions were finalized, and you couldn't change them......

I've heard the term "game time decision" thrown around here and there, and I believe ALL teams have till about 15-30 before kickoff to declare a player ready to go, or out for the game.

It was nice to see him thrown to the ground at least that time. He was a great QB in his time but his time has past. It is past time for him and espn/nfl to let it go.

I want to see more Jen Sterger videos, damn it! I want to see everything that Favre thought was so hot about her.
That being said, this season has been all Favre thinking with his wrong head if you get my drift. Add to the fact that he had no offensive line...wait, I can't say that because he had f*cking Adrian Peterson to feed the ball to. Favre is just an dirty old man who even now is having the final chapter to his career written and thrown onto the ash heap of history.
(I had to throw in a little Ronald Reagan to lighten the mood for you guys.)
