I think both suck as HC and GM. The bears are doing well this year and some of that has to do with playing shitty teams and some has to do with a good game plan yet I not forgoten the shit staff Lovie has on this team. Some of the Lovie Smith decision making like leaving your qb in games way too long is stupid. His ability to challenge calls is still pretty bad and his lack of ability to make second half adjustments is still poor. I think Angelo should be shot in the nads because he deserves it. Both GM and HC have made some good decisions but I feel the bad ones are far more.

I'm far more worried about the paring of JA and Ruskell-I think that could be disastrous.
Arguing on the internet is like winning the special olympics, even if you win your still messed up.
Restore the roar!

I can't help remembering just last 7-9 season how many were calling for Lovies head including myself. My opinion stays the same but many others have hopped the fence again.
10-7-07 Bears 27,Fudge Packers 20...12-23-07 Bears 35,Fudge Packers 7 Then Favre quit and became a Jet...

Winning cures a lot of things. Along with how people feel about players and coaches.

So, you are still calling for his head despite how this season turned out? Hasn't he at least earned another season?

Of course not, he seems to think everything is black and white...either your a hater or a homer, and we all spend our time bouncing back and forth, except for him and people like him, because dagnabbit, he doesnt like Lovie, and no amount of wins, division titles, conference title or superbowls will change his mind!! oh thats right, i said SB wins...because i know that a.he doesnt think they can win, and b.even if they do he will still say Lovie sucks and should be fired.

Your darn right I'm not a flip flopper/fence sitter. Sometimes the truth hurts but it's still the truth.

I want Lovie resigned, without a doubt. I want Martz also to continue working with Cutler for several years and see how good this offense can become.

I can remeber 7-9 with Rex, I remember 9-7 with Kyle and 7-9 with Cutler.
and not in any of those years do I recall feeling like Lovie wasn't cut out to be coach. I posted a couple facts in another thread, but I'll repost them here in case anyone missed it.
1. Smith has compiled a 62-48 regular-season record in seven years with the Bears. Only George Halas and Mike Ditka have more victories.
2. Smith reached the 50-win plateau in 88 games, faster than notable NFL coaches Bill Parcells (89), Bill Walsh (91), Chuck Noll (94), Bill Belichick (111) and Tom Landry (119).
Lovie's name seems to be in good company so early on in his career as a head coach.

Reevaluating a fluid situation when new evidence presents ifself is not flop flopping; but whatever…clearly have you have mind made up and nothing, not even a Superbowl victory, is going to change it…
