Can the Bears hold the Jets to under 10 points?

Logic would seem to indicate that this is so. New England only gave up three points to them three weeks ago, and they only scored six against the Dolphins. I expect that this game will be low scoring, and that the Bears will prevail by a score of 20-10.

If Ditka were coaching, I'd have the score slanted even more in the Bears favor.

It would seem they'd need to just going by trends

Jets are 0-4 when scoring 9 or less
Jets are 10-0 when scoring 22 or more

They've yet to score anywhere between 10-21 which is incredibly strange

I didn't know that stat line. Thanks for bringing that up. The Jets don't have a great offense; their whole game plan is predicated around that defense. I am just hoping that this game doesn't turn into a situation like the Giants game, where our offensive line buckles under a lot of pressure. I think we can hold the Jets ground game in check, and definitely their passing game. I think this game will be low scoring; I really do.

One would think we'll be having a rather similar game plan to theirs, run the ball, throw quick, short passes (them for our 4 man front, us to fight the blitz) and hope special teams and defense can pull us through.

The Jets have been held to under a touchdown in three contests this season, and they've played in tight game for about half of their schedule. I think we're in for a good game, win or lose. Still, I'm a Bears believer, and I say that we'll win this one with a monster defensive effort.

its possible. the jets O has struccgled against really good defenses. we scored 22 on Pitts buy 9 was of a KR TD and a safety so really 13 points. GB held us to 0, miami held us to 6, NE to 3 (even if NE's D isn't statistically that good), and Balt held us to 9

our offensive coordinator sucks. lol, he refuses to make adjustments. sometimes we do good and sometimes we don't its tough to tell what we'll do on offense to be honest

our gameplanning on offense sucks. we run on 1st and 10 over 60% of the time which is the highest amount by far in the NFL. its usually run, run make sanchez throw for 3rd and 10 and punt lol. we need to play like we did against pitt and be more suprising and throw on 1st more.

also the jets are 10-0 when scoring an TD 0-4 when we don't.

Geez, thanks for making me feel good! LOL. At least I know the fact that there have been four games this season where the Jets didn't score a single touchdown.

I thought this stat was interesting. Sanchez's numbers when the temp is 45 degrees or colder are : 4 tds, 17 ints.
