I want Rex Grossman to be tied up and used for a game of pinata. He was what lost the game for us. Peyton Manning didn't have all that good of a Super Bowl from what I remember.

I put Turner first on the blame train. He is the one who decided to stop running the ball...
but fawk it, that was four years ago, who cares who is at fault. I just want revenge.

I don't get this part of the article considering Chris has far and away been our best OL in a position he hasn't played in ages. Seriously, I still think he should be our LT considering the bloated bag of suck we have there in Omiyale, but he has proved he belongs as a starter in this league with his play there the past few weeks. Whether he gets another chance at LT, or is a permanent fixture at LG for us, I know our OL is better for having him in the mix.

I agree with you on this one sox. I also think that 54 has a point about Garza. When he started the season at LG and Louis started at RG we couldn't run the ball worth shit. Now that we've settled back in at OG Forte is showing us the kind of running game we had in his rookie year. Williams and Garza have been instrumental in getting those spots up to speed in my opinion.
I'd still like to see Williams back at LT next season but I certainly don't want Omiyale back at OG. That's a failed attempt that shouldn't be repeated. I'd like to see us draft someone like the boys from Wisconsin to shore up the left side. Those guys are run blocking machines.

It's too bad that we couldn't get Joe Thomas back when he was coming into the draft.

idk about you guys but Forte looks a hell of a lot better then his rookie year. His rookie year he looked like a serviceable running back good at everything great at nothing. Im seeing him truck people and not go down by arm tackles this year. And he does look faster.

ok this I dont get. You repeatedly are upbeat about Chris Williams worth to our oline. I just dont see it. What about him do you see that is good?

He is far and away our best OL beyond the LOS. It's not even close. Since he has adjusted, he isn't letting the stunt beat him anymore, and he isn't getting driven back into the pocket like we saw the first couple games. It's a big adjustment to make for a 6'7" guy who is used to playing outside to just jump there in the middle of the season with one week of practice. He struggled mightily at first, but right now, he is easily our most efficient all around lineman and is actually starting to dominate at times since settling in rather than just get by on his skills. Looking at his tape and the efficiency ratings week-to-week, it's unmistakable. Just ask Butka if you don't believe me on that one.

its not that I dont believe you lol I just wanted to know what YOU saw that makes him someone we should still consider seriously as a long term guy on our oline. fwiw Im not a fan of him at LG but if it works who can argue with it. I dont think he should have been taken out of the LT position. He is more worthwhile to us developing at that position.
