Agreed... and on top of that, if we're lucky enough to have all of that fall into place this week, then we have the option of maybe resting a couple of dinged up guys next week if needed, wheras they might have play hurt if next week is a must win. Of course there's a lot of reasons for and against playing a full game in week 17 in such a case, and it's a whole other can of worms, but I'm just saying it's nice to have that option.
I'm thinking next week will matter though. I don't see the Vikings winning. I hope I'm wrong.

I don't care who we have to play in the playoffs. The road to the Super Bowl is going to be paved with some pretty tough opponents. We just need to fix our defense and do so in a hurry because it's been getting torched for the past four weeks.

Yes it has. I'd like to see more blitzes, or a mix of blitzes to help the loose coverage. Although any blitzing I've seen still seems to have soft coverage from the corners.

It just seems to me that throughout this year, we have been playing too far off the line with our corners. WTF is with that, I wonder? Granted, we limited the Jets offense to 27 points (I don't count the interception return for a touchdown) when it could have been worse, but that's no consolation. If we play a team like New Orleans, Atlanta, or Philly again in the playoffs, we're going to be involved in another high scoring affair just like this game.

Yeah, I admit that I don't watch the games to pay a lot of attention to the detail of each position, but I can't say that I've ever seen the corners trying to jam a reciever.

I mean, logic would dictate that doing that would throw the receiver off his route. That's just my opinion, though.

For blitzing I'd like to see more than just a MLB blitz and a loop stunt. Wright or Moore blitzing if the situation allows.
Arguing on the internet is like winning the special olympics, even if you win your still messed up.

I want to see Vick torch the vikings because I hate the vikings.

So you needing Vick to dominate to win in FF has nothing to do with it?

NO! We can't have that because that makes it more likely that we won't get the first round bye in the playoffs. This game against the Packers is no gimme. We've got to stomp Green Bay first, but I'm going to cheer loudly for the Vikings to beat Philadelphia, even if ::gulp:: Favre plays.
