The cover-2 is a good Defense, but it has a few requisites for it to be successful:

1.A very Athletic MLB that can cover sideline to sidline....check
2.A good front 4 that can put pressure on the QB...check, if they are going against an "average" OL. Unfortunately the Jets and Pats have VERY GOOD OLs, so our front 4 pressure was non-existent for the most part.
3.Its bend but dont break defense, doesnt give up the big play and forces QBs to be precise or else make mistakes. Unfortunately, the Jets and Pats have good OLs that allows their QBs to be very precise in their throws, so both teams shredded our defense.

Overall, our D is just a bad matchup against the Jets and Pats O.

Man, I watched the first half and then had to head out for my son's birthday celebration. Looks like I missed one hell of a second half.

Among the Top AFC offenses, We easily have the best chance against the Steelers. They have probably the worst OL in the AFC, so we'd have a much better chance v them then the Ravens, Jets or Pats

Our cover who D against great OL's good to great QB's and above average wr's was getting worked over out there today. Again needed to man up and bump those guys off their routes.
The O seems to have finally awakened after that ass stomping from the Pats. Cutler looked wonderfull, and I haven't seen Forte run like that in quite awhile. Hester looked great to.

Awesome! Did you use the air horn today? I actually didn't wear my Urlacher jersey or my Bears Foamhead hat because I didn't get up in time to take a shower before the game. So, I watched the game wearing my shirt from yesterday and my sweatpants.
