Rumor: Contract Extensions for A.Adams and D. Manning
Per Rotoworld:
A source told the Chicago Tribune's Brad Biggs that the Bears are trying to sign NT Anthony Adams and SS Daniel Manning to extensions.
After locking up LS Patrick Mannelly and DT Matt Toeaina, the Bears are evidently trying to get a couple other potential unrestricted free agents under contract beyond this season. Adams has had an unexpectedly good year at nose tackle, while Manning has been solid at strong safety and is in the top 10 in kickoff return average.
This is some nice contract momentum we'll have going if we can sign these guys too. It will be great having things salted away with a questionable year cba coming up.
Arguing on the internet is like winning the special olympics, even if you win your still messed up.
