Impressed with Cutler this 2nd half of the season
I'm really impressed with how he's playing, hopefully they keep Martz and this offense together to see it reach it's potential instead of changing to a new offense each year. I think this will be good for him to face GB before the playoffs, they have a solid pass defense so it will be a good playoff tuneup for Cutler, would love to see him throw 4 TDs against the Packers and knock them out of the playoffs, but I really just want to see him continue making good decisions (and of course getting the TDs with it :-)
Forte has really been impressive this 2nd half of the season also, thats great to see.

It would be beyond stupid to fire Martz or any other part of this offensive coaching staff.

Thats another reason why I want Lovie extended, defense and ST's have been outstanding since he arrived, and we finally got an OC that understands QBs and offense, I would like to see them stick together for a few years to see how good this team can get. Who knows, maybe Martz will actually help improve their 1st round drafting also, you never know :)

I agree. Martz has been wonderful with this team, and he's actually adjusted his coaching philosophy to fit with the personnel we have. Mike Tice is a great offensive line coach; he made lemonade with the lemons he was dealt this year. If we can protect Cutler in the playoffs like we did against all of our opponents in the second half of the season (except, of course, the "invincible" Patriots), we'll be NFC Champions, for sure.

Yep, we're finally getting to see what we paid for. Cutler has the potential to be a great one and not only break Bears passing records but maybe put up a few NFL ones of his own as well. He still makes some throws that he shouldn't but his precison and touch are among the best in the league without question.
I'm looking forward now to the annual Packer/Bears clashes between Rogers and Cutler. These two team should rule the NFCN for some time to come.

I with all of you, I really like how far we've come.
Personally, I think Cutler's growth and the resurgence of the running game has to do with improved offensive line play. These guys look a lot more solid than just a few weeks ago.

How long is Martz's contract for? In fact Tice...who should have the say in the next draft. Marrinelli's contract?
Can we lose any of the three?

I think we are see who Cutler can be when he is confident in those around him and with the system. Last year he was obviously uncomfortable and not confident in all in what we doing offensively and clearly didn't really trust anyone outside of maybe Olson and DA (who never saw the field till the end). That carried through this year all the way until the bye but since it seems to be coming together for him. Looking forward to how he handles the playoffs.

Not certain, but I believe that all three are signed thru 2011 (to line up w/ Lovie's contract)

I think you're right. It makes sense that they wouldn't have been offered contracts that extended beyond Lovies. I guess in view of the fact that we made the playoffs, and provided we don't fall on our face now, it's pretty likely that they'll offer Lovie and extension before his deal is up. That should ensure that the staff remains pretty much intact along with him. As much as I dislike Lovie I guess I'll have to accept it but it's a little like watching your mother in law drive over a cliff in your new BMW.
I am worried about us retaining Toub though. I don't think he's as much under the radar as you'd think a ST coach would be.
