I'd just like to further a comment by Nerrad, as Rex Grossman was quoted in the media after his 0.0 rating against the Packers "because he had other things on his mind, like New Year". I seem to remember a lot of the bad play was directly related to him, and that this team WILL be more focused than that. But, if you blame Grossman, how can you not blame the coaching staff for allowing his mind to be on other things? Then again, we have a lot of different coaches now...

What the f**k is with your signature, Henry? I love the Flaming Lips but do you really need a signature that big?

The Pack put the Giants away with purpose and you know they are wanting revenge against the Bears and they also want to fight for their playoff lives. The Bears know they are getting the #2 spot no matter what happens and they get the advantage of watching the NO and ATL games before they play. If ATL wins the Bears know they are locked at #2. So they may not go into the game with much purpose other than pride of sweeping the divison and also worry about going into the playoffs healthy.
Without weaponz it's just another airline!

If the Bears were playing next week, then I could see resting some starters. When you are guaranteed a bye, I don't think you rest anyone at least not until the 4th quarter or late in the game. I want a Packer and division sweep! It's important.

People ,IMo get way too caught up in fantasy football and highlights, and not the actual games, where the packer St 31st in league and can't even tackle a 300+ lineman, their "star qb" who is 2-13 in games decided by 4 points or less, yes he can throw for a lot of pretty stats, but in crunch time 2-13 is NOT good, their run game is pretty pathetic w/o grant and struggles each week..McCarthy is 5-20 in games decided by 4 points or less in his HC career, also not good..for refee=rence cutler on bears is 6-3 in games decied by 4 points or less and lovie is 19-8( despite the knocks he gets that's impressive).. IMo shows that Packers can blow people out when things are going their way, but when its tough and close, like most playoff games, they will choke it down
Perhaps you don't want games like everybody else does when it comes to a rival team. You bring up things like having a 300lb linemen in to the discussion about the packers special teams yet neglect anything positive this team does produce. This same packers team put a huge beat down on the team that KO's multiple qbs this year. This same giants team that set an NFL records against the bears for sacks in a half. Now I watched the packers/patriots game and I was impressed with the back up qb tearing the Patriots defense up. Had Aaron Rodgers played in that game I felt they would have beat the patriots. You know the team that kicked the bears ass at home. Sometimes DB I think you are too biased on other teams. Yes the packers lost to the 2-10 lions yet we did not blow them out when we played them and it took late 4th quarter come behind wins to beat them twice. That packers team does worry me and I would rather face the Giants or Bucs in the playoffs.

I don't think the bears will play to eliminate the packers from the playoffs. If someone gets injured I could see them start pulling starters like crazy.

Now that you said that, he will.

Just go up there and kick their asses and then get on with the playoffs. Now is not the time to start playing soft. We'll have an extra week to heal the bumps and bruises. This team has stayed healthy all year and I think that will continue. If we go in there timid we lose.
