This would be heaven for me. I was hoping it would happen in 2001 with the last game in Old Soldier field but the bears lost to the eagles and the packers lost to the rams.

They basicly have 4 straight playoff games, the last 3 on the road, before they could possibly play us again. That why I take issue with the whole idea of, if we don't beat them now, they might beat us later. Outside of the Rams, they would be the best team for us to face in the championship game.
I think the only flaw with this train of thought is that it's the facking packers. I want to beat no team as much as I want to beat the packers.

It's not like I'm going to wake up on Sunday and start cheering for the Packers, but I don't want to see any Cutlercopter heroics in order to avoid the 5% chance that the Packers beat us in the NFCC game.

I say play them. We need a reckoning once and for all about who the best team in the division is, just to shut the media up

Want to shut the media up? Win a Super Bowl, and the road to the Super Bowl does not go through Green Bay.

I've since changed my mind from the last time I talked about this. I no longer want the Packers in the playoffs. I don't want to risk playing a third time this season because it is DAMN HARD to win three times against one team. Let's kick their green and yellow asses on Sunday and take home a season sweep of the series, and a sweep of the NFC North, back to Chicago!

The only members of the Bears organization that will be doing any sweeping will be the janitors.
Edit: And no, I'm not talking about on the football field. I'm talking about sweeping the floor. Shut the door before it was even opened.

Oh Evernight, you are one saucy fellow, aren't you? LMFAO. I do hope that Lovie shows no mercy on the Packers in the season finale. We need to win to make ourselves feel good. It IS the Packers we're playing, after all. This is like Ohio State playing Michigan in college football. You play to beat your rivals because it makes you look good as a coach and as a program/organization.
