I still want to knock GB out of the playoffs and complete the sweep
Beat GB, Lovie has owned Lamblow field and it would be sweet to sweep the entire division.

I can't see the Bears playing the Pack soft for any reason. I think they'll go in to win regardless of the results of the Minn Philly game. Should be an awesome game!

Let us show no mercy on the Fudge Packers this Sunday! I can't wait to rip apart their defense like we did to the Jets' unit this week. Also, I think that Aaron Rodgers can be had. I'd like to show him some uses for that stupid championship belt he keeps "wrapping" around his waist every time something good happens in a game.

I really hope Lovi doesn't sit our starters like we did against the Pack in 06!!! We still have a slim chance of getting Home Field throughout... although Carolina beating Atlanta is unlikely... you still never know in the NFL! We need to go for the kill!!!!

Lovie said before the Vikings game, regardless of what was gonna happen, he was going to play GB hard. It seems he loves to prove himself by beating them (how could you not like that in a Bears coach?), BUT I wanna remind ya that Wes Welker was lost for the Patriots when they didn't rest their starters last year, and got bounced by the Ravens in the first round...

Hey Bears Fans, Giants fan here, asking for some help!
BEAT THE PACKERS!!
I hope you guys play the entire game and try to knock Green Bay out of the playoffs. However, you can also rest your guys as well, but only if you're up 24-0 at the time. =]
Giants fans are rooting for you guys all over the world. Remember what happened to us a few years ago when we had a playoff spot locked up but played against the Patriots? YOu can never have too much momentum going into the playoffs.
Besides, you guys are getting a week off anyway. Gotta stay sharp and what better team is there to stay sharp against then a hated Division rival like Green Bay?
LETS GO BEARS!!

do you think your team really deserves a playoff spot or can do anything in it? I'd rather see GB make it. The NFC already has 1 team in the playoffs that has no chance to win it all (sea or STL) they don't need a 2nd with the giants

Just a few points..
I think that any team with 10 wins deserves to make the playoffs. It just so happens that this particular year, it's possible that a 10 win team will not make it. Do we deserve it though? Maybe. Maybe not. We had our destiny in our hands for two straight weeks and lost both games. However, Green Bay has lost to Washington, Miami and Detroit. The case could be made that they do not 'deserve it' as well.
I'm a fan. Why wouldn't I want my team to have an extra game? Can they do anything with it? Who knows. I think that the Giants of all teams proved in 2007 that once you get into the postseason, anything is possible. We have the roster to get on a roll. The talent is there, but the execution is not and to be honest (no offense to anybody here, I realize I am on a Bears forum) there's not a particular NFC team that really scares me. We've beaten the Bears (granted, very early in the season) and could have beaten Philly twice. Atlanta doesn't scare me and New Orleans can be beat. I believe the only team I wouldn't want to play is the Packers, and I'm sure that point holds true to many on this forum. They can be a scary team, and it would be better for the Bears to knock them out once and for all, which is what I'm hoping for.
I just want a shot.
Also, as a Jets fan, how can you ask another fan if they think they deserve a playoff spot, seeing as how the Jets have lost 3 of their last 4 and backed into a playoff spot this past weekend.

He didn't win anything in college. He didn't win anything in the NFL. I think he's imitating a strap on when he does that.

Thats always a risk in the NFL, but there has been alot of situations where a 2 week bye is occurring and the starters rest, and after 3 weeks they look flat in their playoff game. I think with the 2 week bye coming, it's important to have everyone playing. At least into the 3rd or 4th quarter.
