The game of football was invented 4 days after
tahitian monks prophesied Devin Hesters birth.

Actually I would say the offensive line playing like a "swing gate" as the sole factor that LOST us our games..... The games where they allowed like 5 or more sack we lost pretty badly...
Agreed. The losses to the Seahawks and the Redskins were avoidable, particularly the Redskins game. The offensive line gave up six sacks to Seattle, and four against the 'Skins. What hurt us also in the game against Seattle is that a Danieal Manning kick return for a touchdown was called back, otherwise we win the game by a score of 27-23. And then the debacle in the Washington game were the four picks thrown by Cutler to DeAngelo Hall, including the pick six that sealed our fate. In truth, we should have been 13-2 entering Week 17, but I will gladly settle for 11-4 and awaiting a first round bye in the playoffs.

Don't forget two defensive tds called back "after the fact" on the Redskins and Seahags offenses, and Cutlers blatant td against the Skins that was ruled a fumble in which Lovie cosby didn't challenge. We actually should've won both those games minus the week 1 against Detroit(it was a catch) ,still should've been 12-3 at least.

I have always wondered what it would be like to play Devin Hester in a capacity similar to Willie Gallimore and Gale Sayers, since they were receivers, running backs, and kick returners.

in today's game RB is out of the question if want a smaller player to last more than 4 years, imo, if have the smaller, thinner build like a hester or sayers. In sayers and willie 'the wisp" time, lineman were 240-250 for the most part, Lb's 210-220, safeties under 200, so could run and take a pounding, but today's game 300+ lineman 250+ lb's and 220+ safeties.. just not in cards or realistic except for a gimmick play or 2

Yeah. You're right. I just always wondered. It's fun to think about things like this from time-to-time. Maybe 25 years ago this would have been possible. Still, though. lol
