Very nice!

I'd love to pick up Ray McDonald and Ryan Kalil. McDonald has a great first step and a non-stop motor that always runs hot. He'd be a much better fit for us as a one-gap DT than as a 5-tech in SF and Kalil would anchor our OL for the foreseeable future.

Draft looks good too...I'm particularly a big fan of both DeAndre Brown and Josh Bynes, but I'm not sure either will be on the board at the spots you project. I think Brown could go in the 2nd round, and if he does fall, it'll probably be because of the depth at WR in this class. I also think Bynes is more likely to go late 3rd or in the 4th and if he falls, it'll be because of size/durability concerns, but IMO a Cover 2 team like Chicago, Tampa Bay, Indianapolis, etc will snatch him up before the 5th.

Wanted Kalil coming out of USC, and he's easily at the top of my wants list this offseason. As or the mock. I am a Cannon fan as a power guard, but he isn't first round material in my mind unless he blows the world away in workouts. Glad to see you finally put a CB at the top of you board, also, and I am a Smith fan despite his somewhat tight hips in transition. Deandre is a bit of an enigma with his injury issues this season, and I wonder if he has the suddenness in and out of his breaks to actually play WR in the NFL, but he's worth a gamble ~4. I think like with Cannon, you are grading Taylor much too high. He's short with short arms and average athleticism and strength. He's this years AQ Shipley. If we do land Kalil, I would rather we go with an inside out OL prospect like Pinkston or even just plain power guard like Moffitt a round earlier. I've been on Moffitt since the jump off, and man do I think his value is just outstanding in the third. Really, I would rather have him in the third than Cannon in the first, easily. Hell, I'd take a shot on McGill there who has some tremendous upside before I drafted Taylor that early. I've got no problem with the bottom picks, but I will throw out a couple players at those spots that I like late. Brad Jefferson at LB and Lawrence Guy from my Sun Devils at UT. I think both make a climb before the draft, though, so they most likely wouldn't last there.

Cannon got his ass handed to him regularly today vs Watt. It safe to say I feel even more confidently now that he's not first round material, even at guard.

Neither Tillman or Jennings aren't that bad - they are good tampa 2 CBs. But it'd be good to have a CB that can match up with #1WRs man to man, so the defense can be a bit more flexibile and unpredictable. I thought Bowman would be that guy this season but Lovie doesn't think so.

However, if Lovie or Rod have much say I wouldn't be surprised if they'd rather go after a better pass rushing DT rather than CB - if they're running Cover 2 all the time that would have more impact than an upgrade at CB. Unfortunately most of the DTs in this draft are run stoppers, but if Drake Nevis outta LSU, who draws comparisons to Warren Sapp, is available for the #1 pick he could really make the defense a monster...
