Unless the Eagles beat the Pack, then we will host them.
I would chalk this game up to a mulligan. Bears knew they had nothing to play for other then pride and a better record. Cutler took too many stupid gambles by holding the ball too long. He wanted to rocket every pass, just because he can.
I would expect Martz to have tighter control over the offense and Cutler when the games start to actually matter.

I don't know that it's as bad as it seemed today. Cutler was definitely tight. The calls definitely went the other way. AND Omiyale, and Manumaleuna definitely still suck.
All of that can be overcome.
We are still healthy, we will play at home, we can indeed win our next game. Unless we see more of the same.

40, 38, and then 3?
Points scored.
Come on you can't lay an egg like that heading into the playoffs. Looks like Cutler starts taking sacks and loses all faith, if we're taking sacks why not move the pocket and put Cutler on the run more? I should get paid lots of $$$$$

Why not? Laid a BIGGER egg in 2006...against the same team, same circumstances (bye week guaranteed, division locked)...and we went on to the Superbowl.
Crappy game...but come February, it shall only be a footnote to the season. (no matter how playoffs turn out).

Right but that Seahwaks game that year made half my head gray.

We scored 78 points in the previous 2 games. This game doesn't take that away
I'm glad they gave a full effort but it was meaningless for us. I'm not going to be upset by anything in this game. The Packers earned the win
We can certainly very easily go back to the offense v the Vikings & Jets. The Offense in the 2nd half before this game was very good so no expectations dropped from this game
