Yes I'd bet the conversation changes if we lay a egg like this in the first playoff game we have.
Arguing on the internet is like winning the special olympics, even if you win your still messed up.
Restore the roar!

we won't. One of the reasons I'm ok w/the loss like this is Cutler won't do it in the next game; and the whole team will feel like they have something to prove.

Sorry, but that is not this team. Under Lovie's tenure this team has no killer instinct.
All they had to do was end the Packer's season. Didn't do it, couldn't do it.
This team was very fortunate this year. Not having significant injuries to key players,
while meeting teams that did. Freaky unbelievable, ridicules Devin Hester.
They can't protect their QB, and their H.C is absolutely clueless when it comes
to making decisions that will impact his team during a game.
An expert marksman may have all the practice round scores, but if he wiffs when it counts
he's what?...a terrific character guy... a great buddy...?
Maybe yes, and more...but he's still second best, at best.

The years in between, babich and RT damn near cost him his job; and until Martz was told to get real he could have been in that talk too. Lovie might be one of the worst game managers I've seen.
I would love to see where these ESPN commentators say that the Bears have great coaching. Outside the coordinators and assistant coaches, we are quite pathetic in the front office and at HC. I don't believe you can fire Lovie just yet, but if we fall apart next season after having this successful a year this year, I'll be back on the bandwagon wanting Lovie Smith out of Chicago. Unfortunately, it'll be too late by then to go after a coach of the likes of a Bill Cowher.

I'm not a fan of lovie by any means. I agree that his coordinators have made this season what it is. I hope to God that we keep everyone next year, and Martz doesn't move to a HC position... and I hope our position coaches aren't offered Coordinator positions. I think we have some potential if everyone sticks around.

...and that we make key moves pursuant toward adding good athletes to our offensive line and maybe add a top-tier WR from the draft.

This is the second game he's cost us by calling a time out just prior to the snap, while we are in the process of getting the first down. I hate him. Keep your FUCKING hands in your pockets and let the offense sort out any "guys looking out of formation."

I hope that the Packers decide to hire Forrest Gregg again as head coach when it comes time for Mike McCarthy to be fired so that we can kick his ass again.
