I think you all will have a whale of a game against the Eagles. You will have to run against them in order to guarantee a win because they will do just like we did all day today and play the deep pass. As for their offense, well, I pity you having to go up against them because they've got some real speedsters at WR (Justin Maclin, Jason Avant, DeSean Jackson). And then you will have to worry about what Michael Vick will bring to the table, although from what I hear, he has a lower body injury I believe, so that could work in your favor.
Maybe the Bears and Packers will get a chance to tee off again in the Playoffs. I hope that we actually show up this time as opposed to what horrible effort we got today on offense. Congratulations on the win today, and thank you for being so gracious. I don't know if I would have been that way had the Bears won since I have a hearty dislike for the Packers (mainly stemming from the Brett Favre years).
Don't get me wrong, I hate the Bears with a passion. However, given our lengthy history and rivalry is easily one of if not the best in all of pro sports, the Bears are a team I can at least respect even through the hate. They have actual fans, most of which aren't fair weather like the pussies up here in MN who can barely sell out a playoff game on a good season.
I know full well what we have on our plate next week. We brought Vick to life in week 1 when we knocked Kolb out of the game, and now we must put him down.
A Bear-Packer playoff rematch would be amazing, and hopefully the winner of that game would at least represent the North well if not win the Superbowl.

How did a Packer fan wind up in Minnesota? That's uncanny. I guess the same could be asked about how could there be a Bears fan in Tennessee.

Born and raised here. Given the chance (i.e. a good paying job offer) I would hop the border in a heartbeat to not have to watch Packer games on internet streams anymore.

Once I get out of school, my future career will probably take me out of the area, probably somewhere up North. I'd say the most likely places I would wind up at would be Washington, D.C./Northern VA, New York, Ohio, and yes, even Chicago is a possibility.

I know at least one Bears fan from Wisconsin. IDK, I think Packer fans are pretty cool, but i think it depends on how "seriously" you take football. If you can live with your team losing, you're someone i'd watch a game with, and if you aren't a ***** when your team is winning, same thing.

FencikFan is from Wisconsin, Henry. She's a huge Bears fan. I don't know if she is originally from Chicago or not, but she lives up in Wisconsin.

I'll take it b/c it kepts the Giants out of the Playoffs; I would rather face the Packers again, then Atl then have to play the Giants, that might have been our worst match up if we had won today.
Don't like how the O played, but I'll live b/c it's better then J doing that shit in the playoffs.

That game was just a defensive donnybrook, that's all there was to it. The sad part was, if a cat had nine lives, we killed 10, because we had three opportunities to put the game away inside the 50 yard line: the two interceptions, and the blown time out call by Lovie Smith when we picked up a first down on a 3rd and 15. I think we could have won that game going away if even two of those plays hadn't backfired. If we could have picked up a touchdown and two field goals, we would have 16-10. It was a good game between two pretty evenly matched opponents, in my opinion, and I think the Packers got the benefit that it was a home game and the crowd was behind them, and that it was a do-or-die situation. If we play again, the Packers don't get to play in Green Bay, and I'm sure we will have learned our lessons from the mistakes we made in this game.
I'm feeling better now, because earlier I said that this game was indicative of how/why we will be one-and-done in the playoffs. I don't believe that now, and I think that there is a better than good chance that we will play whoever our opponent will be in the Divisional Playoff tough and will come out victorious.
