Interesting fact. In our last 8 games, we have played 4 at home and 4 on the road.
During that stretch, we allowed 109 points at home, and 37 points on the road.
I'm thinking I'd rather play in Atlanta.

1. Marinelli has the D ready...no worries here but shows you how any let down will get exploited.
2. Did Martz get spooked since we were losing the field position battle? Who knows but he's got to resist that urge or we need Tice to grab him by the scruff of the neck and remind him.
3. Don't know if that was intentional (attempt to get him to 1000 yds) but Knox saved one interception and didn't do jack to prevent the one in the end zone. Somebody tell him an Off PI there to prevent an INT is better than an INT.
4. Great game. He is a solid all-purpose threat showing good consistency going into the playoffs.
You have me confused with someone else. I predicted the Bears to go 9-7 and didn't make any playoff predictions at all, either making the playoffs or not making the playoffs. I'm glad my expectations were exceeded. I also predicted on this message board (during the bye week) that the Bears would go either 5-0 or 4-1 in their five games after the bye week.
Edit: I would hardly call pointing out a concern as "the sky is falling." You yourself have said in this thread that 70-30 pass-run ratio "doesn't work." I'm just not as optimistic as you that Martz has learned his lesson. I'm not saying he won't call balanced game(s) in the playoffs, I'm just saying with his playcalling yesterday he can't be completely trusted and there is the potential for the pass happy playcalling.

I think Martz just wanted to get his guys the milestones.
and Im with you DB they call the one on Jennings a pi but a couple times a bears player got raped no flag.
Quite a discrepancy and may be reflective of our field. The only game the D appeared to "play fast" was against Philly. Particularly the D line. Yesterday was the first time in a long time we played in that hostile and environment with all the noise at Lameblow. Since we got that out of system we should more prepared for the Georgia Dome, if it comes to that.

I still dont get why Mike Martz turned into the old Martz last week. he was killing Cutler with the 7 step drops and lack of run plays in the second half. Forte really has become a legit top NFL back
we actually won the TOP which was suprising when looked. agree 100% both lovie and tice need to make sure stay 50/50 esp when winning...
And know its a "what if".. but if we don't have the time out and the 3rd down conversion, and drive keeps going, maybe they never get the momentum and we win the game on that drive, instead of giving upthe long play and td instead.. Either way it was a very close game to end with neither side having any big advantage.
And agree 100% was screaming at the TV that knox needs to learn to "fight for ball " better, and at worst take the PI than allow an easy INT, he gives up on plays to easy and its fustrating
