Bears LB Roach, S Wright injured vs. Packers

GREEN BAY, Wis. -- The Chicago Bears suffered two injuries in a 10-3 loss to the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field. Linebacker Nick Roach left the game after the first play from scrimmage because of a shoulder injury, and rookie safety Major Wright departed with a leg injury suffered in the second quarter.
    Roach and Wright didn't return.
At the 11:35 mark of the first quarter, Roach was seen walking into the locker room. Immediately afterward, a team official declared Roach out for the game.
A four-year veteran, Roach had been filling in for Pisa Tinoisamoa, who is recovering from arthroscopic knee surgery. The team announced prior to Sunday's game that Roach would start his fifth consecutive game in place of Tinoisamoa.
Roach has 11 tackles on the season, including a season-high four stops on Dec. 12 against the New England Patriots.
A rookie third-round pick, Wright has been rotating in with veterans Danieal Manning and Chris Harris, and the team has been trying to figure out how he will fit in the starting lineup with Manning playing on a one-year tender, and Harris' contract scheduled to end after next season.
Plagued by nagging injuries, Wright entered Sunday's game with 31 tackles, including a career-high eight stops last week against the Jets -- in addition to one quarterback pressure.
With Wright out of the lineup, the team was forced to utilize Manning and Harris for the rest of the game.
With the Atlanta Falcons locking up the NFC's No. 1 seed earlier in the day with a win over Carolina, the Bears couldn't improve on their standing as the No. 2 seed.

In Lovie's presser he said they are fine, and should be ready for the game in two weeks.

I'm not so sure that these are "lasting" injuries. After all, there was much talk about resting those that were "nicked up" (ala Bennett).

Wright being dinged up with the finger, hamstring and now the leg again is a pause for concern though with only part time play. Thankfully we are most likely the healthiest team in the league knock on wood.
