Come On Man..................................
What a fabulously inept showing from our offense yesterday. It's to them that I award the following "Come On Man" awards.
Mike Martz; "Come on Man" - What in the hell kind of play calling do you call that? Did you concoct yesterday's game plan for some old Ron Turner notes that were carelessly left around? That was as piss poor a game as I've ever seen from you. Total suckitude!
Jay Cutler; "Come on Man" - At just what point in your illustrious career will you learn not to throw picks in the red zone? Jeezus Christ, the defense gave you the ball on the 15 yard line and you come away with zero points. That's 100% on you brother. That wasn't a 6' 4 1/2 " Brandon Marshall you were (under) throwing too. That was a 6' tall Johnny Knox. Oh, and by the way, the accuracy on the rest of your throws left a lot to be desired as well.
Johnny Knox; "Come on Man" - Did you manage to leave your hands behind in Chicago when you left for Green Bay? I've been touting you as a clutch WR. One who gets open and never fails to hold on to a catchable ball. Oops, I guess I was wrong about that because yesterday in the clutch you obviously were playing a different part of an automobile commonly referred to as the choke! At the very least you could have made an attempt to defend against that lousy pass attempt which resulted in a pick but you chose to be an observer instead of a partcipant. Shame on you!
The Offensive Line; "Come on Man" - Jeez, you only got your QB sacked 6 times and also gave up how many hits and hurries? I guess you boys till have a long way to go before anyone can consider you a workable unit. Also, a very special "Come on Man" to Frank Omiyale. You are 100% responsible for our not getting a chance for a td when you allowed your man to go unblocked so that Cutler could pick up one of the many sacks you and the rest of your useless cohorts allowed.
And one very large "Atta Boy" to the entire defense with the exception of Mr. Bowman who it seems has yet to learn just how cover his man all of the way down the field!

I think the original "C'mon Man" segment is annoying enough.

1. Rodgers to Jennings: The play that set up the winning TD pass from Aaron Rodgers to Donald Lee was a classic Cover 2 beater. Run an inside route with a vertical stem at the safety (Donald Driver on the deep dig) and get WR Greg Jennings down the sideline on a basic 9 (fade) route. This is why Chicago’s Danieal Manning got beat. Instead of doing what he is coached and playing with enough depth to break over the top of Jennings, Manning drives down on the dig route. Great throw by Rodgers and this defense gives up a big play. A great example of how easy it is to get beat in the NFL—because a top tier QB like Rodgers isn’t going to miss a Cover 2 safety coming off of his landmark.

I'm wondering if Bowman is hurt or something. He does seem slower. I was reading about how C.Harris was sticking to his landmark with the game winning int vs the Jets-looks like they will have to have Manning drill it more.
Arguing on the internet is like winning the special olympics, even if you win your still messed up.

LOL. you look at what the pack did to the Giants when the giants had everything to play for.
then you look at what they DIDN'T do to a Bears team that didn't have JACK riding on the game, and PLAYED like the game didn't mean anything and we STILL kept it close right up to the last second.
now if the bears can come out and half ass it against green bay and damn near walk away with a win... I'll let you all fill in the blanks.
I'm not ready to do the super bowl shuffle quite yet.... Foxtrop maybe... but no shuffle. . . . yet.

soulman you didnt see the game plan change once they got Forte his milestone? They went pass happy to get Knox his due just too bad didnt work out. Even Forte in an interview said they went vanilla. The part that concerned me is why allow Cutler get hit all day if we were going vanilla.............either way We saw an awesome performance by the defense imo and when Forte was running we were getting them early on.

could it be possible Bowman just sucks? Hell Jennings supplanted him as a starter lol. He is just another legend like Payne was.

Yep Bowman could just suck. But he did look slow. What was the draft pick we got for Payne? 5th?

http://www.nationalfootballpost.com/...rsPackers.html Globe you seem to be making an excuse for Bowman and hanging the rap for the catch and long gain on Manning. Look at it again. It's Bowman who breaks off of his coverage when he seems to be momentarily distracted by something else and that's what opens a gap between he and Jennings that he was unable to to turn and close. Manning may have been a little late getting there but it was Bowman who released Jennings into safety coverage when he should have continued his own coverage all of the way. Had he done so it's unlikely that the play would have resulted in a reception.
Prior to that Jennings was playing that corner and if you watched him he was following the receivers all the way and not turning them over to a safety and as a result he didn't get beat like Bowman did. Bowman may be great at getting to the ball for picks but he also bites on pump fakes and double moves way to often and when that happens he's toast! I stand by my total disrespect for him on that play. It was his cover not Mannings.

I don't know about that but manning and Moore blew that play and Bowman is taking the heat for it despite being the only one of the three that was where he was supposed to be.
Hell, DJ Moore is still frozen on the 47 yard line.
