Honestly, i dont care what anyone says they think of the team, im more concerned about them winning a SB. if they do that, JA can say he thinks this is the worst team ever for all i care.

Of course, I'm kidding about Parcells. But we need a better adjudicator of offensive talent from someone.
FWIW he did say something to that effect. I'm not even gonna try and regurgitate it to you cause I don't remember exactly what he said...but he did admit to poor drafting more or less

He's right, this is not a talent laden team. We've got about 5 players who are consistent Pro-Bowl level players and most of the rest are very good role players in their respective schemes. I believe the real talent this season came from the coaching staffs ability to win with this group by getting the most out of what these guys had to offer.
We still need some major improvements along the Oline (guys like Mankins and Gallery would be a good fit at OG), a good short yardage back (maybe Unga will step into that role next season), at least one ace, shut down CB (fill in Champ Bailey's name here) and a steady receiving threat in the red zone (maybe DA or a better use of Davis and Olsen in that role or maybe a 6'4" 220lb draft pick), who knows.
This team still needs some serious talent upgrades before they match the talent level of either the mid 80's Bears or the current NE Patriots.

Agreed. It's nice to know that we have good coaching for the most part, save for Lovie Smith and sometimes Mike Martz, like his folly of not running the ball more this past weekend vs. the Packers. I wanted a 12-4-0 regular season and a sweep of the division, but bad decisions by the coaching staff cost us dearly there.
As for OL, I think Logan Mankins would be a wonderful addition to the Bears' OL, though I am hesitant to say the same for Robert Gallery since he has apparently been injured off and on for the past two seasons. (According to ProFootballReference.com, Gallery only played six games in 2009, and only in two games this season with the Raiders.) Mankins has been steady since he was drafted in 2005; the Bears might be purchasing themselves a white elephant if they go out after Gallery. If they do purchase the contract of Gallery, I would move him back to his original position of RT in order to replace J'Marcus Webb.
