I must confess: I was pulling for the Packers to beat the Eagles.

I was torn. I was routing for the Eagles on that last drive and then laughed when he got picked. Kinda Jekylll and Hyde while watching that game. Part of me wanted the beat up Eagles and another wants another shot at the Packers.

To quote Simon and Garfunkel: "Any way you look at it, you lose". We beat the Seahawks, we got a gimme (i'm sure the saints just weren't prepared enough); we get beat, we got exposed as frauds. We beat the Falcons, they had an emotional win over the Packers, and vice versa; we get BEAT by those teams, see Seahawks loss. If we Win the SB against any other team than NE, we didn't really play the best team. If we get beat in the SB, Lovie & Cutler "can't win the big one"..

But if the Pats don't make the SB and we do and win it, who cares we got the ring and the trophy. Then next year we get a better line and an offense with experience with Marty ball and some fine tuning on d and we repeat.

I think we have an excellent chance at getting to the Super Bowl this year, fellas. Now, depending on who we would play in the big game will be what my opinion hinges on in terms of if we can win it or not.
But first thing's first: let's concentrate on defeating the Seahawks. They've proven two weeks in a row in underdog roles that they cannot be taken lightly. I think we'll win the game convincingly, but I also wouldn't be surprised if this is a close game either.
My guess: Bears 34, Seahawks 13
