Really tough choice, it's a toss up between Hester and Peppers imo, with Urlacher, Forte, and Briggs all right there next. Fantastic seasons for all of them. I would pick Forte if he played all year like the 2nd half of the season, and Briggs and Urlacher delivered all year long. Hester having his best return year ever statistically has brought the fear back into all teams and Peppers was better then even advertised. Cutler was a big part also, but he needs to be better before I put him in that group, he's much improved over last season, but still has some cleanup he has to do.

On defense: MLB Brian Urlacher. I say this because he's the leader of that defense and he calls the plays on the field. Sure - Julius Peppers has greatly increased our pass rush from where it was in the past several years, making the rest of the defense better because of him - but Urlacher is the heart and soul of that defense, and his being back symbolizes the defense's return to prominence.
On offense: RB Matt Forte. He is fast becoming a carbon copy of Marshall Faulk and Roger Craig with his abilities to beat you running the ball or as a receiver. Had Mike Martz stuck with the game plan on Sunday of running Matt Forte consistently, the Bears would have surely defeated the Packers and finished the season at 12-4-0. Still, Forte rushed for over 1,000 yards and gained over 500 yards receiving. If he keeps progressing as he enters his prime, he will be lights-out and devastating to defenses for years to come.
Special teams: KR/PR Devin Hester. 'Nuff said.

Team doctor/trainer is definately a good option. Remeber a few years ago when it seemed everyone had a hamstring injury?

We have a few guys we could give the award to. But you have to first ask yourself what side of the ball is more resposible for our wins. I say without question its the D. without out our D playing so well.. we would not even be in the playoffs.
What players stand out in most games on that side of the Ball? Peppers, Urlacher and Briggs.
now you can decide two ways. Who has made more impact plays, or who effects the team more if they have a down game or a great game. I tend to go with who effects the team more depending on how they play.. In my opinion this has to go to Peppers. When He is getting pressure we have played GREAT. when he's not getting pressure he is being held and double teamed. Without him drawing double team attention our other players would not be able to do thier jobs as well.
Peppers is the team MVP and a possible NFL Defensive POY.
Now, if I were to give a runner up. its a tie between Lach and Forte. Honerable mention goes to Hester. Yes he can win a game for you in about 10 seconds. Look at the first GB game.
