WOW!!!! ~ NOT BAD! ... Lee Russakoff's NFL Pl
4. Chicago Bears (May-Win-NFC-by-Default-to-1)
The NFC is the most wide-open conference we’ve seen in years. If any of the five NFC representatives wind up in Dallas, it won’t shock me in the slightest. But there’s something about this Bears team. Maybe it’s the lack of respect they get outside Chicago, maybe it’s their defense’s ability to stop the run, maybe it’s the fact that I see them getting the NFC Championship game at home.
A lot of people like the Packers-Eagles winner to make it to Dallas. I get why. Both have dynamic offenses and are sexier to watch than Chicago. But the Bears have won every game they needed to win all year, and with no complete team in the conference, I’ll go with the side I think will only need to win two home games.

...... I'll BUY That! ...... :lol-027:
.
Maybe what Russakoff meant...
Yeah, that "two home game" statement is odd. Maybe he thinks that ATL will lose their first playoff game? In that case, I think the Bears would have two home games (their first--a supposed win-- plus the NFC Championship).
Either way, his picks for the SB are, well... interesting. I don't think we'll see a SB without the Pats. (Although it would be AWESOME to see them not make it!) And as far as picking the Bears to be in the SB... well, we all hope so. I just hope Cutler gets smarter and the OL miraculously gets tougher.
A little luck might help, too.
