Thread: Chicago Bears vs. Seattle Seahawks

I think we win by a few scores. Offense is much improved, Seattle felt like it won the SB already so I think there is a let down. I don't think we miss eight tackles in the GAME let alone one play.

With Seattle having already beaten us once, especially considering there "confidence level" after beating the Saints, I think there's a very good chance that they come into this game overconfident and underestimate us. And that's not even considering the fact that we're the better team, had a week off and will be playing at home. I think it could be fairly close for a half, maybe even through 3 quarters, but we should pull away down the stretch as long as we don't screw it up.

In all seriousness, the Saints overlooked them, we CANT do the same. Oh, and it's time to compare our 12th man vs. theirs...

Seattle is getting ready to go up against one of the best run defenses in the NFL next week. Also, they have a porous defense that gave up 36 points to the Saints in the last game. We have a better running game than the Saints out of Matt Forte out of both phases of his game: rushing and passing. Cutler is quietly coming into his own, and I wouldn't be shocked if he has a monster game next weekend. My final score:

Bears 34, Seahawks 13.

lance briggs wasnt in that game earlier in the year. with briggs the bears will be much much better. wont be a blow out but it wont be a close one imo

I just can't see the Seahawks having three consecutive weeks where they rush for over 150 weeks. They did it on two weaker run defenses (at least I think New Orleans' weak link on the defensive side of the ball was defending the run). The Bears only give up like 80-something yards on the ground, so I look for Chicago to make this game one-dimensional for the Seahawks offense.

And by the way, fellas, the last time we played the Seahawks in the NFC Divisional Round was in 2007. Guess what happened that year? WE WENT TO THE SUPER BOWL!!!

Well, the guys on ESPN were already going against the Bears next weekend (WTF? REALLY?), but Vegas would be a better indicator of things....

Screw ESPN. I hardly ever watch them because their opinions are always so biased anyway. They are still stuck on preseason mode: they haven't moved past the fact that neither the Cowboys, the Packers, or the Vikings are going to win the NFC this year. Their boner about the Jets and Patriots still remains, however.
