What to hope for - Home field in NFCC or away
I really want the Bears to get homefield for the NFCC game, I think they have a better chance of winning then they do on the road in Atlanta (even though I think they match up well with Atlanta). I just can't root for the pukers though, can't do it......

Look at the third game against the Packers as being the "charm". It would be the ultimate revenge.

I am torn about this. Winning the championship game against the packers at Soldier field would be one of the happiest moments ever as far as being a fan of the bears. But I cant imagine the pain of losing to them at our place for a trip to the super bowl.

You've got to be willing to gamble if you want to claim the prize. We didn't show our full deck the last time we played them, so I can't possibly imagine us coming out looking like an anemic offense the third go around.

Dont make the mistake the Saints did...one game at a time. Lets beat Seattle first, THEN worry about where the next game will take place.

does it really matter? Bears are better and faster on turf, and I believe the Bears can beat atl.

I was saying that in the other threads that we need not overlook the Seahawks. I guess I'm so high on beating them that I forgot to take my own advice!
But I want to play the Packers again so badly.

Yeah, let's get by this weekend first before we worry about the next game. It's not completely out of line to think that GB (6th seed) and Seattle (4th seed ) could leave #1 and #2 sitting at home licking their respective wounds.
In a showdown between GB and Seattle I think GB would dominate them and then how would it look for the Bears to lose the season finale to GB which then puts them in the playoffs and they win it all!!!! So let's play them one game at a time just like they have to before we start talking about the NFC Championship game in Soldier Field.
We haven't even played one game in post season so we ain't there yet.

On the bright side, at least the negativity seems to have died down....
