This is why they have playoffs...weed out the pretenders from the contenders. Obviously, ATL is a pretender. IF the Bears want to be the best in the NFC and represent them in the SB, then first we have to beat the Seahawks, and beat the packers week after. If we cant, then we dont deserve to be there to begin with.

As a New York Yankees fan, I understand this logic very well. You not only have to beat the best teams that are out there, you have to WANT to play them and THRIVE when the limelight is cast upon you. This is the Bears' chance to make believers out of doubters. Beat the Seahawks and the Packers and whoever comes out of the AFC in the Super Bowl, then you can start talking about flashing bragging rights.

Exactly...how much sweeter will the Superbowl be knowing we beat the Packers in the Championship on the way!!??!
