think "most" bear fans, think 'some" just a fan of arguing more than a bear fan and can't change bcause too invested in the bears suck argument..to just be a an now. And as said before the season to each his own.. but rather ENJOY THE RIDE even the ups and downs.. then complain before and during the ride, to only at end realize how good it was, and missed the excitement and enjoyment of the full anticipation and ride, because too busy looking for the negatives or bad things to see the good

And some fans can't accept negative criticizm of the organization when the do screw up, in their defense they make up excuses and belittle other members opinions. The arguments go both way with the people hating and praising the organization. Some members are so obsessed with what the media says or doesn't say about the bears where I feel they get too attached to stories and complain too much about what some beat writer says about the bears. If the story sings praise everybody is excited yet when it is negative the writer is a hater or biased towards the bears. There is always good and bad with each team yet some people can't accept the negative or positive. Some people are ok with mediocrity team or coaching staff where I want the best out of this team. I don't want to barely beat the cellar dweller team or win on a contriversal play unless it is against the packers. I want an elite team that crushes teams like the 85 bears team did. I want more than anything to crush the packers sunday and go to the superbowl to win our 10th championship and shut up every homer packer fan I work with for a very long time. Even if we lose in the superbowl we can say we kicked the packers ass and eliminated them from the playoffs.

Can we kill this thread already? Nothing is getting accomplished by it being open other than people are disagreeing and trying to argue against a living, breathing set of bricked walls.

The fact that I quoted him.

I remember this forum getting on ME for getting on THEM for whining about the preseason. Particularly when I put "fans" in quotes.
