What are the odds the Bears will ask Jim Cornelison to come back for the NFC championship game and sing!?!? I just think the atmosphere in the begininng was awesome. I live close to the stadium and didn't have tickets but hear every word and thought it was amazing!

It was, by far, the loudest I've ever heard the stadium after (or during) the National Anthem. Set the tone for the fans. I hope they bring him back for Sunday's game instead of picking some semi-famous singer w/ Chicago ties.
That was awesome, then all the fans drowning it out at the same time was great. If you search on youtube for it you will find a bunch of live vids of it, pretty good stuff.....
I'm a Wings fan (... yeah I know, shh..), but I've always loved how the Blackhawks do their Anthem. The Bears need to bring him back, that was electrifying. It was a celebration, which is how the Anthem should be sung, IMO.

As out-of-towners my wife had no clue as to who he was, just knew the Stadium was being unusually "disrespectful"(her words). Me not being all the much into hockey, didn't know much about the situation, but I saw his Championship ring and quickly put 2+2 together.
Not sure what petition I need to sign to get that guy back in Soldier Field, but just show me where and I'll sign it!
They did this before the Redskins game too, though I doubt it was as loud as yesterday.
I was hoping they'd do it again, but since it's the NFC Championship, the NFL and Fox handles the pregame, halftime crap... so it won't be him. I think it's going to be some local kid from American Idol, or someone like that.
I personally don't think i've ever heard a crowd this loud during the National Anthem.... EPIC.
