TE Davis predicts victory over Packers, Super Bowl trek
Tight end Kellen Davis believes he knows who will win Sunday's NFC Championship Game: His Chicago Bears, of course. Green Bay Packers running back Ryan Grant isn't so sure. The Bears will be home Sunday against the Packers in only the second playoff meeting in the decades-long rivalry. "I'm just glad to be a part of the history it's going to be, because we're gonna win," Davis said Monday night on WSCR-AM, according to the Chicago Tribune. "It's gonna be a huge game, the crowd's gonna be crazy, and the build-up is gonna be nuts, and we're gonna go to the Super Bowl, so I'm ecstatic." Davis caught two passes for 42 yards and one touchdown in Sunday's NFC Divisional Playoff victory over the Seattle Seahawks. He has just 10 regular-season receptions in two NFL seasons, nine of them in 2009. After Saturday night's victory over the top-seeded Atlanta Falcons, Grant wrote on his Twitter feed that he believed the Packers were Super Bowl-bound, regardless who won the Bears-Seahawks game. "Pack Fans might want 2 start booking flights 4 feb," wrote Grant, who suffered a season-ending ankle injury in the opener. "Not looking ahead but u c we just have better players than other teams."

yeah its gonna be a huge game..which is why the Bears need to score first. Keep the energy amped up. Nothing is gonna be more harmful then to see the Packers go up two scores and suck all the wind out of the stadium.

Glad to hear Davis and others expressing confidence in Sunday's outcome. This is gonna be a tough game but if the Bears stay on edge and get the offense on track I think the Bears defense can handle whatever the Packers can throw at them. The key here is to score more than 20 points and hold the Packers to less than 20.

I also believe that the Bears have a great shot at winning if they score more points than the Packers.

I see what you did there.

I'd actually like to see Davis get the ball a few times, maybe short yardage stuff,he is a monster.
He might even make for a good lead blocker on a goal line play..

As long as Bears are scoring, I do not care who brings it across the goal line.

I hope that this game doesn't turn out to be like the '84 and '88 NFC Championship Games. We got blown out both those times, even though I wasn't old enough to watch and understand what was going on back them. I think these are two pretty evenly matched teams. On NFL Network, Tom Waddle is already predicting a Bears victory, and from ESPN, Tedy Bruschi is projecting us to win. While Waddle tends to be a Chicago homer (he admitted as much), Bruschi seems to be an objective analyst who doesn't seem to have an axe to grind with the Bears' organization.

The 84 and 88 game was by the 49ers dynasty team with Montana/Rice and all their other HoFers. I just can't put this Packers team or Rodgers in that same category. That is why I hate the 49ers to this day though!

Please tell me you didn't put a lot of thought into that statement.
