When does Cutler NOT overthrow his passes? He always throws off his back foot, and his mechanics and sometimes his decision-making are off. I would imagine that will be something that Mike Martz and Shane Day will be working extensively this offseason on Cutler's delivery and footwork.

I'm sure it happens that players get frustrated. But I believe they start pressing in most situations. I haven't seen Jay give up all year, so to say he did it today I think is a stretch.
Just like everyone else, I'm disappointed that in the biggest game of our season, Jay has a bad game. With his body language, it's easy to mistake that for not caring, but my point is that unless you are in the trenches with him and really know what's going on, it's all speculation. These guys have risen to the top of their profession and they just don't do that without being ultra competitive.

and thats the problem...to win and be the best, you have to BEAT the best. So if he cant handle the pressure when facing a good defense...and hes NEVER been able to handle the packers D since hes been with us btw...then whats the point?
I probably wouldnt be so harsh on him if Hanie hadnt come in and lit up the scoreboard for us. If Hanie can do it, but jay cant...then i view that as an indictment on jay and his performance, or lack thereof.

sheesh jimmors...one minute you're blaming the OL for his bad play, the next it's all on him. He has below average WR's, below average OL, and a slightly above average RB...what more do you want from Cutler? Please enlighten me...

I'll disagree with you on the RB situation. I feel like, sincerely, that Matt Forte is on his way to becoming a Pro-Bowler/All-Pro in the future because in the last half of this season, he really stepped it up a notch in his running and receiving out of the backfield. Take into consideration, too, that he had 150 yards from scrimmage today (70 rush, 90 receiving).
