The better team won the game. No matter what excuse people use the better team won the game. Second why in the hell was todd Collins in uniform? I just can't understand what this guy did to earn the #2 spot. If we only had a GM with just a fraction of tallent at drafting I believe we would be a solid team for a long time.

1.OL...always start and end there.
2.Jay...lazy effin play today jay...yeah i rhyme.
3.Lovie...wasted timeout called...AGAIN when it wouldve been first down.
4.The whole team...for whatever reason, outside of Urlacher, they all decided to wait until the 4th quarter to start playing, guess they figured it was a West Coast game.
5.the OL.

Does anyone else think he did not look that seriously injured?
What happens if the injury is not that serious and he did not come back into the game?

I wouldnt be so harsh on Martz...he adjusted, made some NICE calls here and there, and adapted the playcalling for Hanie. The stumbling in the first half had more to do with crappy OL play and a lethargic effort by Jay.

If only this coaching staff could have a bye week in between every game.
Yeah, Jay had some bad throws, but you can't say he quit if the dude's got a bum wheel. It would be stupid and incredibly Favre-ish (selfish) to stay in, possibly doing more harm than good.
If they intend to keep Martz, they had BETTER get some road graters up front. No more of this smaller, lighter, faster garbage. Get some bodies that are hard to get around. Oh, and some TE's that can block.

This feels like the 2004 ALCS all over again for me. The Yankees lost to the Red Sox in the most humbling manner. This game at least nearly turned into an OT game, but then again, I guess God really hates the city of Chicago or something because rarely does anything good happen to one of the city's teams (outside of the White Sox and Blackhawks in recent years).

He's taken hit after hit for the last 2 years. He's not a pussy, and his injury resistance shouldn't be in question. If anything, that 31.8 QB rating is what we should be ragging on.
It was an awful game for him. He overthrew 2 touchdowns, but his he's not the type of person to call it quits for bullshit reasons.
