All I'm saying is that the qb w/the most talent, and that has the most talent around him of any of our previous qb's, needs to be able to play more stable.
Is our talent enough, no need more wr help, need more OL help, but him throwing to covered wr's that are not near talented enough to make plays(and cutler knows is). These guys have to be open to catch the ball.

I Dont Do Mornings
Jay Cutler has never quit at any one point, as Brian Urlacher said when he came to Jay's defense yesterday after the game

I was more concerned about his shitty play before being injured. Ok, he didnt quit...we all stand corrected. But he still flopped in the biggest damn game of his career...thats not very reassuring.

Guys w/knee injuries should have the knee evelated and iced/braced. Doesn't matter if it's a ACL/MCL or any other issue. You don't need an MRI to know there was a large enough issue to pull him; elevate it and ice it down.
maybe they thought it was a sprain and were trying to evaluate if he could go back into the game. in fact you don't know what kind of discussions the staff was having with Jay, so maybe you keyboard doctor should just stfu and let the staff ... you know those guys that get paid to evaluate players do their jobs and trust their judgment.

guess if people didn't immdidately jump the gun with a judgemental high horse and "shoot first" and ask the questions later or even wait for a medical opinion, i'd not ahve been so dissapointed and because at game saw it much different.
To each his own though..
Yes, heaven forbid anyone have an emotional, knee jerk, angry, maybe drunken, reaction in the immediate aftermath of the most devastating emotional loss in Bears history…
Reductio ad absurdum...it's how we roll...

I agree. Yeah, we were wrong about him "quitting," but he was sucking long before he got injured. And from what we saw...he was sitting on the bench staring off into space while Hanie was studying books right next to him, didnt say a word. Maybe they didnt show it all, i dunno, but from what we saw...it looked pathetic...which matched his play from earlier, so it made sense.

The team, while trying to build a championship team over the last decade, has histrocically not tried to do that. And they have failed miserably at building that team over the last decade. 1 sb appearance, doesn't cut it. The team, while better then it was in the 90's, and even the early 2000's is still not where The franchise that started it all should be.
Yes DB, I'm clueless, knew from the moment Collins came in Cutler was done, and the game was over. Didnt say you WERE paid, merely that is how you act. Actually stated that you defend anything the team does even to the point of hypocracy...which has been proven. But ya I'm ignorant...or merely able to express my own opinion w/out the franchise telling me what and how to think.

high horse? sorry but if you called and called him a quitter you deserved to be called out yourself and berated. stop being a meatball bear fan, because "jay didn't look hurt" or "well they didn't ice him down" or " i saw him standing on the sidelines ... when the camera panned over there and he wasn't doing anything". or any of the other "public perception" bullshit that has been said.
and i admit i was made when jay came out but i figured he had to be hurt because in all those other games where he took a beating he got up and came out to play. why wouldn't you give the guy the benefit of the doubt. why are you guys questioning his toughness ... because he didn't get his knee crumpled like Theisman?
