Understand this completely. Now, put yourself in the shoes of everyone of those Bear players. They did the sweating during training camp, they took the bumps and bruises during the season and they defied "experts" opinions about whether they could win 8 games to play in the NFC Championship game! One game away from the SB! If you're feeling like you are, they are feeling 10x worse.

Leave it to a member of the media to write a column that will allow some to imply that the injury wasn't that serious. Now lets give all of them the same injury and see if they come out in the backyard and play in the pick-up football game.
What should you call any : Fumble , Hold , Interception , Three and out , or Sack ?
A " F.H.I.T.S " ? or a J'Marcus ?

The media dislikes Cutler because he won't give them the time of day except when he's required to do so. Bronco fans and sportswriters dislike him because he asked to be traded by the lying SOB who got fired in mid-season because he sucked as an NFL HC. The Bronco fans are jealous because he has done well with the Bears (not to mention Knox the toss in 5th) and Orton is no longer a part of the Broncos future.
Screw all of them. Jay Cutler is very good QB who still has to prove that he can win the big game. That's the only doubts anyone should have. His toughness shouldn't even be called into question.
Yesterday Cutler played a very poor first half and if the media and Joe Average Fan should be questioning anything it's that and not his leaving the game with an injury.
I'm still sitting here wondering who on the team ever thought that Todd Coillins should have been the backup rather than Hanie. That's just one of a list of poor personnel management decisions by the Bears and maybe one of it's worst.
Collins had already proven earlier this year that his days in the NFL were over yet they play him instead of Hanie who just proved that his career in the NFL is just beginning. Just think of how it may have turned out had it been Hanie who took the reins after that Briggs pick rather than Collins. By in large we wasted an entire quarter letting Collins do what he'd already proven he couldn't.
If you want to look for someone or something to blame this may be a reasonable place to start and then everyone can get the fvck off of Cutler's case.

#Bears are still awaiting final results of the MRI. But, I'm told that it's definitely worse than a Grade I, which is only a minor tear...

Jerry Angelo is clearly fired up in his defense of Cutler and it sounds emotional and sincere. Leaves no question team supports its QB.

Jerry Angelo says the Bears were ready to start the 2nd half with Todd Collins, but Jay Cutler pleaded to return to action.

Name one players on the Bears roster who's been a Bear's fan since they were a kid? I am sure they have "feelings" about losing; I am sure they really, really wanted to win, but don't tell me they "feel" more or worse then I do...that's a stupid game...

I have already said I was wrong. I am not a hater of his. Those who burned his jersey should be catapaulted out of Chicago
