Yes, we’re all pissed…I get that…I coped to being bonehead last night (as did others) and I asked you to drop it how many posts and pages ago?

hell if B&B is backing up Cutler some of the sorry ass fans really should be ashamed of themselves lmfao. They just listed over ten players with the same injuries didnt return to the game and were out anywhere from 2-6 weeks.

Secondly, what part of this do you not understand master of the English language? "Now the fact that Jay Cutler was too much of a panzy to play through a sprain doesn't matter to me as much as WHY he got hurt, HE GOT HURT because our revolving door of an offensive line let the Packers defense tee off on him. HE GOT HURT because our beloved franchise didn't see the need to get an Anquan Boldin this way Jay Cutler had a go to guy he could look to (like he did Brandon Marshall in Denver) this way he has a bail out option when the pass rush comes."

Nothing to do with "wishful thinking" BUT with FACTS and cutler growing up in christmas indiana a bear fan( as the closest local team) and Web shots of him in a bears outfit at christmas time as a kid and im in interviews saying eve when with denver he grew up idolizing the bears.. no "wishful thinking" at all about it. sorry
Ok, yes, I am sure he feels bad; I am sure most of them feel bad...does he feel worse...10x worse then I do? That his feeling bad somehow invalidates my feelings....that was the point dumbass tried to make....as if its some kind of contest to win of something...

Again just saying there was NO wishful thinking about cutler being a bear fan growing up, he's awlays said that even before bears ever involved with him.
and we can go in circles about "who feels the worst", but will just say after spending all the money on flights, hotels ticekts etc for this game for the wife and I, I know with certainity no matter how Bumed out THAT make me today, I still do not ahve mic's shoved in face all day about it, don't ahve my feloow players tweeting baseless and ridiculous stuff about me all last night and of course like all athlete's that WANT to win.. he has sure got to feel alot worse than us.. the degree doesn't matter IMO
And that the staff wanted to bench him to start the 2nd 1/2 and he begged to play, how much worse after you do that, and see all the criticism and wrong stuff would make you feel? seriously..

Chisportsfan spun what I said about being an emotional fan into a debate about who “feels” more or worse…that was never my point or argument…

I really don't want to argue with BB. He doesn't really listen to logic.
I agree with him that our front office isn't top dog in the pack. I'd say we are in the top 15%.
I agree with him that we need more Oline. Hopefully that won't be ignored again. I don't think it will be after every one and their brother said to anyone who would listen that we had the worst line in the league. Tice has a different model in mind than what he was given to work with, and I'd expect us to draft for his model of OL. Kreutz isn't the guy anymore. Love him, will always respect him, don't want him starting in 2011.
I agree we could use another tall WR who will fight for the ball. I disagree that Boldin was the guy - he didn't do much for Balt and neither did Houshamanzadeh. I wanted Boldin, but I also realize that he didn't want to be in Chicago. I, personally, don't see WR's as a huge difference maker if you have all of the other pieces (which we don't).
I agree that JA could do a better job drafting, listening to his scouts and coaching staffs, and self evaluating.
I agree that Tim Jennings isn't the guy we want starting at CB. I'll even go so far as to say that Tillman isn't anymore either. I'd say that we need a good CB in the upcoming draft and can patch together the rest temporarily until the following draft.
I also think calling fans anything other than fans is misguided. I'm sure everyone thinks they are smarter, or been fans longer, or have more passion than the next guy, but they aren't.
I think ranting like BB does overshadows the good points he makes. Jimmors is more likely to convince people of the same things. I also think BB abandons a point when it becomes inconvenient because it was proven to be a poor example (see Walter Payton reference).
And last, and probably most important, I think there are lots of moving parts to winning in the NFL. It is truely a special circumstance involving front office, coaches, players and a little luck to win a championship. One doesn't satisfy completely, but it's a great start.

Winston Churchill:
"Since light travels faster than sound, some people appear bright until you hear them speak."
"If you're not a liberal at twenty you have no heart, if you're not a conservative at forty you have no brain."
