True, Marinelli didn't have the proper game plan to properly contest Aaron Rodgers in the first half, but Jesus, he made adjustments like any good coach would and would up shutting out the Packers' offense in the second half. I guesstimate that had Caleb Hanie not thrown the pick-six to Raji in the fourth quarter, and had he still thrown that bomb to Earl Bennett for the touchdown to bring the score to 14-14 (instead, of course, 21-14), that last drive by the Bears would have given us the victory by dent of a Robbie Gould field goal. Mike Martz made some boneheaded decisions today, but Marinelli was as good as gold.
